Hi @rugged bridge. If you can't type in the channel, it is likely that another person is currently trying to host a raid. Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary & Mythical Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #how-to-raid for more detailed help.

Hi I have had 2 weird things happen to me today and it just got done happening for the second time it’s with dynamax okay I get a Moltres at are power spot so I go and try and get people to help me with the Molters raid but when I got back it had turned into a Zapados and just now again another Moltres and went to post it got people and came back it was toxcity is anyone else having this issue and does anyone know how to fix it please despite my apologies players still were very angry and i really need help making sure this stops happening please

the max battles could be experiencing bugs which obviously you have no control over so if thats the case you just need to let your lobby know and then close it. but it is good practice to tap on the power spot before you start trying to host just to confirm what boss should be in the power spot at the time.

Hey, this happens when many people try to send a message simulanously. The Bot recognizes the first message and sets the channel permissions so that no one else can write anymore. Your message got stuck as you could send it to discord, but discord could not post it in the channel before it got locked

Thanks for trying to think with us! I believe the reason they are currently all put together is to limit the amount of raids created per minute. Were we to make extra channels that means more lobbies created and with that a good chance of raidbot having a stroke again like yesterday

Hi @mint pasture. If you can't type in the channel, it is likely that another person is currently trying to host a raid. Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary & Mythical Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #how-to-raid for more detailed help.

It’s not your fault if you don’t beat it, but it becomes your fault when the raiders want to reattempt the raid and you don’t send them a reattempt

Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary & Mythical Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. I wrote wrong twice to trying to host. I tried this(-host dialga orgin 2 2) and I tried another. And then muted on everything for the whole hour. Resulting not being able to host. Something else I notised. In the main dialga orgin host lobby. It never became ready to trying to host, even though for a small second it was available. I was locked.

I have earlier wrote wrong a couple times before. But that didn't mute me a full hour. Why has this changed? This is very silly if this discord have to be this complicated... I am just here tryibg to host, or remote raids when I can afford that.

Please let plp write wrong a few times before muting them a full hour. 2 minutes timer is long enough.

Suggestion: is someone type something wrong trying to host. While being in a 2 min timeout. Give us a text on how to properly write the correct typo. Because sometimes we forget.

Suggestion2: raid hours like these, let's have 3 or more lobbys to be able to host the same. We are maaany people, an we should all be able to trying to host on busy days like raid hours etc. It is very silly to have 1 room and plp being filtering out to host. There are plp who dosen't have many pogo players where they live.

"I think this dicord group is a amazing thing. And it has a lot of features of groups. But if we are gonna be muted for a typo, and losing the event because of that. You guys will lose plp."

Hi! Regarding your first point, the muting system is there to prevent people from typing stuff that isn’t a host command (ex. “Plz host raids”) in the channel. Based on how the regex is setup, you shouldn’t get muted for small typos but if you do please send a dm to @simple stone and we will fix it for you :). I’ll forward that one onto the people who make the regex to see if we can get that one whitelisted.
We 100% agree with the first part, that’s why the correct hosting command is always pinned in the channel.
Regarding your second suggestion, allowing more hosts at the same time won’t help as much as you think it will. It’s an issue of supply and demand, more people want to host than want to join raids. Having more posts open just means more raids that won’t fill. Once one fills, someone else gets a chance.

Actually i see why you got muted, there’s two mistakes: the space between dialga and origin and then you misspelt origin. That’s why it wasn’t recognized as an attempt at a host command. If that happens again dm @simple stone to be unmuted. Unfortunately it’s impossible for us to whitelist every single possible typo

You need to be in the server for 30 days and host for a minimum of 500 members to become Verified.
Hosting is entirely possible without it, allthough it will be a little bit more difficult.

hii! I'm new too, only joined two days before ya.

You would join raids by going into the raid channels and click on the thumbs up to be invited into the raid channel. There you would have the add friend info of the host and you can add him in pokemon go so he can invite you into the raid. (You must have a remote raid before joining tho or atleast buy one before he invites you to join)

If your hosting, then you would say something like " -host dialga" or another pokemon name following with two numbers with space in between like "2 6" for 4 star or "4 6" for 5 star often. The numbers mean that 6 people max and minimum of 2 or 4 people to start the raid. After joining in when full, the bot will automatically show your pokemon go add friend profile for others to add you. Next you would need to accept all their request and start the raid and inviting the people who just added you.

Hi I have had 2 technical issues that cost me 2 remote raid passes the first one was in the middle of a raid with 170 left words came up and the raid closed and took my pass the second one has been happening a lot but got worse in the last raid it kept freezing on me at the start of the raid it didn’t unfreeze until the clock was at 200 and freezes in between me switching from 6 Pokémon to 6 more and it never unfroze after I came back even after waiting for 10 minutes so far I have lost 2 remote raid passes so any ideas why this is happening or how to fix it please

Hi @echo loom. If you can't type in the channel, it is likely that another person is currently trying to host a raid. Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary & Mythical Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #how-to-raid for more detailed help.
