You have to host for at least 500 people using Raidbot and be in the server for a month or more. Then you can ask for verified host. The other option is to become a legendary or mythical supporter of the server.

No, most hosts just say “sending invites” without pinging anyone. The ping shouldn’t be necessary as by joining your lobby the raiders have committed to joining the raid and should be ready to join when they see the invite

If u’re going for 6 then it defaults to 6 and you dont have to put any numbers, -host terrakion will do. If u wanna adjust numbers u will need to put both minimum and maximum numbers, so -host terrakion 4 6 (as an example).

Most people who have obtained VH (including me) used lower tier raids or raids on less active days to grind hosts. On a release day you can try and host (and rehost as explained in #how-to-raid ) more popular one and three star raids which less people are likely to host. You can also host legendaries on non raid hour days (maybe even release day if you’re in an earlier time zone) when less people are hosting and demand is often higher

If you ping as a raider, it gets automatically saved. If you ping as a host, we don't save it automatically, as that would trap you as the host in there. It's best to close and push the red button after, that saves the lobby too

Hi @tender kindle. If you can't type in the channel, it is likely that another person is currently trying to host a raid. Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary+ Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #how-to-raid for more detailed help.

Can’t really screenshot this person since I’m already deleted. What’s annoying is this person writes a long post saying gift first and then would send from the sandstorm region. So once the request is accepted, you be the nice person and send a gift. You see the gift being pinned and I have been deleted the very next second 🙄

If you're on a lap top, on the right in the members list at the very top is the ModMail button. Press that button and at the bottom there should be a bar to type your message in.

On a mobile it'll be there if you press the icon that looks like "people" in the top right

Regarding this message @warm fern , I think most people realise certain regions are in very high demand and will take a long time for people to send gifts (and anyone just being impatient are in the wrong). But when there are multiple reports of the same person doing the same "I have gifts from this region", then just pins yours and deletes, they should at least be blocked from posting in those channels (could maybe just have a discord role set up to handle it?). Otherwise they are just going to keep on doing it and annoy more people.

Its because only one can host at a time (exceptions for verified and premium members), so the channel locks when someone is hosting and makes u unable to type in it until the current host fills.

Wednesdays can be extra hard to host since its raidhour day and many wants to host but not that many wants to join

The two open raids system in raids channel favors verified people to the point that makes unverified host a severe disadvantage making it practically impossible to host

You have verified host that just keep hosting over and over till they get a group.

Verified Host is a bonus people get for providing our beautiful community with so much raids. Remember they made (and still make) it possible for lots of people to raid while having no possibilities to raid locally. And remember verified host status is available for every member to reach for free.

One more thing: these arguments always come up on Wednesdays during raid hours. These are the times when everybody has local raids available and wants to host. It's also the time with the most complaints.

While I personally know the struggle of trying to host during raid hours as unverified host, please realize these are the busiest times on the server. I personally think it's fair to give an advantage to regular hosts(who have proved to understand how it works) vs people who just occasionally host.
