Q: Why don't I have permission to message in the raid channels?
A: Only 1 person can host at a time. You won't be able to write anything until the current raid being hosted is FULL or the Raidbot sends a message that there were not enough people. Verified Hosts and Premium Members can bypass this and type at any time.
When a channel is locked, Discord will display "Done reading?". This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted.

You can increase catch rate though nice great and excellent throws though they are harder than usual on there. Ofc golden razz berries always help. Other than that there’s also the grass and steel metals which give a small boost. However, after that it’s just bad luck unfortunately

What may have happened is that since your device processes your messages faster than it does anyone else’s, on your device you sent it while it seemed free but it reached the server just after the server processed someone else’s. Likely just Unfortunate timing 🤷🏼‍♂️

The blue message is just discord being weird, if you get into a raid you will have the new channel appear and get pinged in it. Plus worst case scenario the host would likely also ping you at least once if it opens and you don’t see it and therefore not respond

Q: Why don't I have permission to message in the raid channels?
A: Only 1 person can host at a time. You won't be able to write anything until the current raid being hosted is FULL or the Raidbot sends a message that there were not enough people. Verified Hosts and Premium Members can bypass this and type at any time.
When a channel is locked, Discord will display "Done reading?". This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted.

Celesteela raids are high demand and low supply. When someone has one they want to host, they’ll post it in #1018763141598945290. Then you click the 👍 below the post and our bot will randomly select from that pool to fill the spots. It’s a lottery but if you keep at it you’ll get one eventually.

Just as a test I reacted to a Kartana and that worked fine. With an average chance of 1 in 20 (given the number of reactions) probability says I should have been picked for one by now. Is there something I should check somewhere?

Hi @abstract flame. If you can't type in the channel, it is likely that another person is currently trying to host a raid. Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary+ Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. If you are still having other issues, check out #793767024262119433 for more detailed help.

Only one raid can be hosted at a time with the exception of Verified Hosts or Legendary+ Supporters. When a channel is locked, Discord will display a 'Done Reading?' message. This is normal, and once the channel unlocks, it will go away. Raid channels will unlock when no active raid is being hosted. I need help about rules 7 and 14. Sometimes 1 or 2 ppl has a different name in game from what's in the server. When they say soon enough I could add it to the list and it's fine by me. Shouldn't I? Few times I didn't notice because I copied the list and was in game waiting the friend requests. Only realized some had a wrong name when sending invites.
My question is if the host have to check names and friends that added or if it's considered members' duty.
Also, rule #14 note says host may exclude unresponsive members or those which profile is set incorrectly. How do I exclude?

I a members IGN is incorrect you as a host are not obligated to invite them to your raid. The searchstring with the IGNs should bring up everyone in the lobby.
Excluding means you use the searchstring and invite who comes up. If someone doesnt come up it means their IGN is incorrect and they dont get an invite.

Ofcourse you are free to invite them anyways, but you will not be faulted if you dont.
