Did Leon say whether if we start cohort 2 now we could get credit for attendance in cohort 3? That’s the only thing holding me up, as I wouldn’t want to have to restart my learning once the new cohort begins.

As far as I know attendance would not carry over. I wouldn't think of it as restarting the learning though. It is more that you would be reviewing materials and updating your homework or doing the push work on the homework, since you would be ahead. If you are far enough ahead you could continue with cohort 2 homework when cohort 3 starts. But keep in mind that there is currently no start date announced for cohort 3.
