Looking for a shader that Literally Just Adds Shadows | Modrinth | Page 1

(Preferably 1.21 and Above)

Odd Request, but i want 2 know if theres a shader that just adds shadows and keeps everything else Vanilla (the same) !! I've searched everywhere, alot of the shaders that do this are either partially broken (fog not rendering, shadows cancelling out colored light tinting, Etc Etc) or Straight Up Dont Work . This is probably a really easy shader to make but i havent seen anyone do it justice !!

(Yes I've tried the shadows only tutorial shader from that one github page . Its so close 2 perfection but it just looks Weird...)

You could try Complementary Reimagined with almost everything disabled except shadows. Potato shaders sometimes work too if you lower all effects. Most “vanilla+shadow only” shaders break because shadows touch lighting, fog, and color systems together. A true clean shadow-only shader is weirdly hard to get perfect lol.

mod owner Seems to be inactive so all the issues on the github arent fixed + its Also broken on a Clearly Supported version !! Lights get inverted at midnight And the border fog option doesnt seem 2 be working either (1.21.1)
