- the Flatpak is slow to get updates
- I think that just means it can't tell what distro you're on
wdym?
just like in windows i can find modrinth folder that contains the data in ProgramData folder
oh yeah the app data folder for Flatpak apps is .var/app/ in your home folder
"the Flatpak is slow to get updates" - whats the fix then?
there'll be a com.modrinth.ModrinthApp folder in there
now i can see it
so
use one of the other download options, grab an early Flatpak build from GitHub, or just wait
how long it usually takes?
and why is flatpak slower?
whenever one of the devs gets around to it

no prob
wait so linux version is working again?
sorry for opening this again, I didn't want to create new threads just to ask this
it is working
but for some reasons the window open animation is choppy
honestly, i dont know if its my issue on my end
i use CachyOS w Gnome
it's still not working for me
ZorinOS 18.1 w Gnome
but this is a wayland glitch most likely
I can click some things in there and the app responds
if i click in the right upper corner it closes
i just don't see anything
I think it's wayland bug
Cus on x11 it works fine?
Hope it gets fixed
Sadly x11 makes every game on my system unplayable due to screen tearing
You could try fedora 44
It is stable for me
It got gnome 50
Which is the latest version with Wayland only
I could but I don't fancy switching my entire os just to play with modrinth, I can just download stuff from the site and use prism
At some point I was about to switch to prism because of that
But since I'm too loyal to Modrinth
I have chosen to change the os lmao
