Download Reeces Sodium Options
done that
Java itself, java is what's in the more details thing. Could be the dev used the wrong version of Java to compile
Logs are necessary to know what went wrong with your game. Please don't manually copy logs from your launcher to Discord.
Instead, please [follow our guide](#1194471048238874754 message) to upload the correct log file to mclo.gs, so it is easier to review and all the private information is censored.
If your issue is related to a crash, make sure to reproduce it before uploading the log file, since it is cleared every time you start the game.
!logspls can you send logs over from your instance
does modrinth automatically download it or
cuz i dont think ive ever download java
ever
cause i just deep reset my laptop
Modrinth downloads Java 21 for 1.21+, so usually you don't need to
but your logs say you need Java 22 for some reason
But do this, and I'll dig into it and see if I can reproduce

dump?
oh
well this one is a new instance but last time i cant
i forgot what it was
let me try again
okay worked
whats openjdk
a java
OpenJDK or Open Java Development Kit is a free, open-source implementation of the Java Platform, Standard Edition
Anyone can use it without express permission
That's why I asked if you had Java 22 installed
Modrith auto downloads Java 21 for 1.21+ instances, which they sort, and makes it easier for users to use, however, the dev seems to have bundled the jar file with Java 22, not Java 21, which is the developer's fault, not yours
-# (I'm sure that Java 22 ism't actually widely used, so that's weird)
can you share the version of Sodium Options API you are using? I'll contact the dev
so i should just download the openJDK then?
okay
or should i remake instance and that will automatically fix it? or not?
sodiumoptionsapi-fabr
ic-1.0.10-1.21.1.jar
no, try looking for an older version for now, until the dev patches it
[Reply to:](#1489263454803202138 message) or should i remake instance and that will automatically fix it? or not?
yeah, it's a bundling issue I think
also, once its fixed. does it automatically updates?

I read the wrong damn mod... ffs, c2m is the issue java mod, lemme contact them lol
but idk wtf is going on with it, c2m is usually good
damn you dyslexia
eh wait so should i still reinstall sodium option
and also same question
no, I made a mistake, I apologize
[Reply to:](#1489263454803202138 message) eh wait so should i still reinstall sodium option
Mods don't auto update usually unless you let them
[Reply to:](#1489263454803202138 message) and also same question
they may annoy you saying "Hey I need an update" but that's about it
i worded that wrong, like there should be the um "update" option right?
like "one mod needs update"
dwdw
so im guessing i should download older ver of c2m
c2me-fabric-mc1.21.1-
0.3.0+alpha.0.362.jar
yeah there will be, it will always be there, but you dont need to hit it
[Reply to:](#1489263454803202138 message) i worded that wrong, like there should be the um "update" option right?
it wont auto update on the app, you need to approve updates
yeah I'm making a ticket on it cause it's bizzare
[Reply to:](#1489263454803202138 message) so im guessing i should download older ver of c2m

no worries at all, I've opened a ticket with c2me and I'll update here when I can ^_^
It's not an issue with C2ME and the game will still launch, its just a false error meant to be a warning that some optimizations will be disabled, as they require Java 22+
ill test it
by updating the mod
It's in most of C2ME versions (might also be in all 1.21.1 versions)
Because thats not an issue and never was
