random intense lag spikes while playing

my modded minecraft pack is having issues where random intense lag spikes while occur, while they are not too frequent, I'd say about twice per irl day, when they do happen it can bring me back by a long amount of time

this is all happening on 1.20.1 Fabric, fyi

so far, some additional notes I've managed to take are

• Distant horizons seemingly taking a very long time to load chunks, as well as graphical errors as seen in the image below in the top right
• The mod Spark which I was recommended to try out in order to find out what's going on caused my entire pc to freeze when generating a new world
• And, probably very unrelated, but it appears as if villages no longer spawn for me? Like I said, probably unrelated, but I thought I'd mention it in case it ended up relevant somehow

also, additional additional note, I am on linux, and while I can use modrinth fine, the modrinth app crashes when I try to open the "logs" menu, so that may be problematic here

Is this with any modpack? If it is it's a modrinth issue and use the dedicated support portal

I have made this modpack by hand myself, it's got 4 pages worth of mods, or for more specific numbers, 73 mods, though that also includes stuff like library mods and optimization mods so the number of overly large changes from mods is probably low comparatively actually

yeah, I don't know either really lol, I don't know why it does that lol, but yeah, there's a few screens where modrinth doesn't like working it seems, but it works well enough, just enough so that I can search mods and make modlists without toooooo much issue

Also DH having some rendering issues is just DH, not something that should crash

Taking a long time to load things is because it's trying to preload the world

It only does this in singleplayer though

Crash Reports are specifically for crashes
Logs are just in general things, what it's loading, any chat messages you receive

So since your game is lagging and not crashing

It would only be Logs

ran a lot better this time, but still encountered issues, managed to get far enough into a game this time that I was able to reach the nether even, but returning from the nether caused the game to freeze with an appearance as if I was stuck in... blackstone I think?

still running into issues, not as severe I think somehow, but I haven't crashed again since, and lag spikes have been less frequent and less extreme, though, the lag spikes seem to have been instead mostly replaced by your average run of the mill lag, with the game running slower and gaining slower and slower fps in a weird sort of stagger, if that makes sense

said lag seems strongest when I'm moving or turning, getting worse with how fast I move

weirdly, I still have dh turned off it seems, so that's not currently the issue it seems
