I'm looking to set up a self-hosted server for me and my friends to play on. I've made plenty of vanilla servers before, but if I want to say, play a Pixelmon server, I can't find where to download the required server files. Is that something Modrinth has functionality for that I'm just missing? I really feel like I'm missing something obvious, since I can't find any threads online about this (outside of ones recommending the paid modrinth-hosted servers).

I'm pretty sure it depends on what modloader you want to use
Like neoforge, fabric etc
i dont know about pixelmon specifically but it depends on the modpack, some do work if you just copy the mods from the modrinth mods folder into your own server folder, some don't and need a specific server modlist
personally i would just try copying the mods from the modpack modrinth downloaded into the server mods folder
and you need to set up the server with the installer of whichever modloader the modpack is using, probably neoforge in this case, you can find it on the neoforge website (or fabric or forge website or whatever)
good to know, thank you
