I'm trying to play Sensible MC on the Modrinth app. But whenever I click Play, it doesn't bring up any new windows or anything. However, it does say in the top right that Minecraft is active. Idk what to do. I've logged out and back in, I've restarted my pc, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled Modrinth, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of Java. This is the latest crash report
https://mclo.gs/WBclMpf
I have also okay lowered it down to probably being a cloth config issue
whenever it uses version 15.0.130, it crashes due to all the YUNG mods, which is a start. Something actually launched. But when i use version 15.0.140, it just doesn't load the game whatsoever. Not even a crash. I've checked the log and did what all the errors said and I'm not sure how to continue
#Minecraft wont open but Modrinth says it is (Sensible MC)

Okay, I've found this happens with every modpack on the app
have you tried the repair button thingy
yep, still nothing
have you tried a lower version of fabric than .130
could you elaborate?
mk
lemme try
also what version are you
going down one version
its minecraft version 1.21.1 Fabric but its now modpack version 2.0.3
still nothing
do you have YUNGS API
Lemme double check. I installed it earlier bc it didn't have it so I'll check if its there still
yep
those are beta versions so i wouldnt be suprised if they crash
have you tried a 1.21 release
i just launched sensible mc 2.0.4 and its working fine
have you added any additonal mods
were you able to create a world
my pc is a year or two behind
and do you have enough memory
it wont launch it at all. it shows its launched in the app for like 15 seconds then takes it back
oof, a 1660ti. very outdated, ik
i think you have enough
when you go on modrinth
click settings
in the left corner
yep
resource management?
default instance options
aight
then whats your memory allocated
512
try 1024
oh wait no, im stupid. not 512, i was reading the minimum
ive set it to 1024, i think it was something slightly higher before
like in the 1200s
oh keep it higher
GB to MB conversion is a tool to calculate data storage capacity of digital information, learn how many megabytes in a gigabyte, convert gigabyte to megabyte.
try that
put in however many gbs
of what? of the memory allocated?
ok
damn, still nothing
oh yay
it was a memory issue after all
