ive set up all my mods and server on the modrinth website and it is currently running
idk how to add any of my friends into the server and i dont know an efficient way to download the mod pack besides downloading each of them individually. if someone could help that would be very appreciated

Sure, I can help.
To have someone join the server all they need to do is connect to the IP address listed on the servers panel through minecrafts server list
I dont rent through modrinth so I dont know where to find it in the panel, but it should be a string of numbers listed as "IP Address" or something similar.
As for sending the modpack, if you setup the modpack in your own launcher it should be possible to use an export button somewhere to create a file you can send people, at which they can just put it into their launcher and play.

yea i have the server address i found that part out thanks
the problem is now
i made a custom modpack, which is just me putting mods into the server and not a large file
and modrinth automatically put them into a file on the website which is nice
but i cant download or export this file for some reason or idk how to
when i right click on the file, it gives me 3 options, rename, move, and delete
and the move buttom shows up with a move to: /root/ which i dont get either

Install all of them to your own launcher manually then export it from your launcher and send it to your friends.
