No idea what caused this but this is exactly why you should take periodic backups of worlds.

The worlds should still be in your files, even if you can't see them in the Modrinth App

Just go to the directory where you have Modrinth App installed and go to the folders for your different instances

By copying them to a different location either on the same device or, ideally, on another device.
