You could downgrade your minecraft version. I think backslot is built for 1.20.2. Downgrading backslot won't help.

cause this pack is meant for a server so removing backslot wouldnt be in the ebst interest

Then either find a newer version of backslot or remove it.

Backslot does have a 1.21 version. it's possible that you accidentally installed the 1.21.1 version, or maybe the mod is conflicting with another mod

i figured it out, it was lamb dynamic lights, i dunno why it was conflicting with it but it was
