As title says I’m wanting to start a realm but I have no idea how it works regarding an instance through the Modrinth launcher. Using Fabulously optimized mod pack and a texture pack and a shader fabric loader. Will all these mods and stuff work for a realm?

Fabulously optimized is client side. Everything will work on any server. Minecraft realms (a special kind of server hosted by Microsoft) do not support mods on the server side. Fabulously optimized will still work, but anything that has to be on the server won't.

Awesome so I can just launch Minecraft through modrinth launcher with my FO instance like normal and then just load into the realm? How does one know if a mod is server side or client side and if it’ll work in a realm or not?

Yep! You can know if it's client side based on the "supported environments" details on the Modrinth download page.

Sweet thank you for the help your awesome ! First time ever playing on pc so wasn’t sure, luckily I’m familiar with mod loaders as I play a lot of modded Skyrim. The modrinth launcher is much more simple than mod organizer 2 I will say lol
