hello i am just wondering my server has been crashing a lot but i also have a ton of mods so kind of expect that. i installed spark and it shows that the server only has 2gb of ram and i am often using around 1.8 gb of that any reason it says i only have two when modrinth says i have 6?

Spark shows the max amount of memory that the server has used so far, not how much has been allocated

but if the server is crashing, you should send the crash report

it randomly happens every once and a while sometimes every few minutes sometimes not for hours

i got a ton to stop by not having my quarry running but it still happens sometimes

if it's a memory issue it'll throw an error like

java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

yeah it looks like datapack lag. you should try to avoid datapacks that add any functionality (stuff like worldgen is fine) because they're really laggy by nature

on Modrinth servers? I think the higher tiers are mostly more memory and storage, not CPU speed which is what you'd need here

there is a command in vanilla that shows you which datapacks are slowest but I can never remember the name...

okay thanks lol used to play a lot more but just play with friends on this and justr crashinng is annoying when it rolls back player inventories and not server so liek if you put stuff from chest into inventory it just deletes it

or rolling back liek 10 mins of builds so just hought id look into it thank you

Had to edit user_jvm_args.txt to include -Xmx6G, tells the Minecraft server to use the full 6GB of RAM
