#Modrinth AppImage is completely unresponsive

Hello! Title says it all; the AppImage launcher is completely unresponsive. Not sure what's causing it.

  • Launcher starts, takes forever to check for updates
  • After launching into the main interface and rendering it, becomes completely unresponsive
  • If you tab out of the AppImage and back in, the interface becomes completely grey

Granted, this is happening on an ancient system. Maybe that's part of the issue? The launcher works correctly on my main, modern laptop.

CPU: Core 2 Duo T5500
RAM: 3.2 GB DDR2 (i945 chipset limitation)
GPU: Intel 945GM with 256 MB shared DDR2 (mobile GMA 950)
OS: Manjaro Linux 64-bit, kernel 6.10.13.3
DE: LXQT 2.0.0 with Openbox
Mesa version: Mesa-Amber 21.3.9

Because it's the most convenient way to run the Modrinth launcher on Linux, when you can't use RPM/DEB? You don't have to extract any .tar files?
