I wanted to get shaders on my modpack. Modpack didnt have any crash issues until I downloaded Optifine 1.20.1. I kept getting crash logs. Then I uninstalled Optifine and downloaded Oculus in launcher. This time it crashed but I didnt have any crash logs. Can someone help pls?

#

try running the game once and see if it generates a new crash log, then send that as well

ok lemme do it now

Website to share logs without having to download them everytime, it also makes errors easier to recognize, which makes it easier to find out what the issue is

Try using an older version of Distant Horizons and see if it runs

loud fulcrum
#

ok which one do u recommend

sharp kernel
#

Afaik there's only two versions of that mod for Forge, right?

loud fulcrum

either 2.2.0-a or 2.1.2-a

loud fulcrum
#

ok lemme try

sharp kernel
#

Well actually if you said DH was updated already then 2.2.0-a probably won't work, so try 2.1.2-a or lower

loud fulcrum
#

yeah i am trying 2.1.2-a rn

#

YOO IT WORKEDD

#

thanks thanks

Glad it works! Looks like latest version of Distant Horizons isn't compatible with Oculus/Embeddium yet, should get fixed soon but in the meantime make sure you don't update it accidentally

loud fulcrum
#

ok i will keep it in check thanks again
