#Anyone know why this happens?

Do you perhaps have a "latest.log"? It may make it easier to understand the problem
Try to disable the resourcepack called "Emotional Damage" and see if the game runs without it
try using the resource pack as a zip file rather than extracting it to a folder
Do you know what's in the texture pack that causes this?
since you have the resource pack extracted, Minecraft has to load every file in the resource pack at once, which is too much for it
with a zip file, Minecraft only has to load that one file
So I should only extract when I'm editing textures?
yes
K ty
Uh I can't find the texture pack in the menu when it's a zip file
did you zip it back up yourself?
yes
when you do that, make sure you compress the files in the resource pack's folder (pack.png, pack.mcmeta, assets) rather than the folder itself
Ok
Just those files you mentioned?
those and whatever else might be in there
Should I do every single folder or just the ones that contain others that appear when I click the actual pack
just go into the resource pack's folder, select the files in there, and compress them
Ok
Any textures in the assets folder aren't loading when assets is zipped though
send a screenshot of what you've done so far please
Oh so it's an archive.zip?
