I tried maxing out my frame rate to 240 fps but it never actually gets to 240 fps but then when i set my fps to unlimited, i get 500+. The max framerate option never maxes out to the number its meant to be on.

This is an issue with minecraft itself as far as I've always been able to tell. I always reccomend just setting it a bit above your FPS target, so maybe like 260 FPS.

Im not really sure. It might just be an issue with minecrafts FPS counter
