1.8.9 modpack won't even launch. | Modrinth | Page 1

just created a 1.8.9 modpack and it won't even start.
as soon as i press play it flashes that the instant is running in the top right box for maybe 1 frame before it stops. no logs no nothing.

now im getting this error when i press play ???

try updating you drivers (idk if that will fix it)

if i switch it to java 17 or java 21 it just doesnt load on forge. loads fine on vanilla 1.8 profile. not forge

instance appears in the top right for half a second before disappearing

im not sure where i check that. all ik is it runs completely fine through curseforge but does that weird crash/doesnt load with modrinth
