Yes, just download the mod on the website with the correct version then open %appdata% go in .minecraft then go to mods and drag and drop your mod there
That won't work as that is the default minecraft instance. I'm not on mc PC rn, but I think the path is %AppData%/com.modrinth.theseus/Instances
Okay
Open minecraft onece, then go in the .minecraft folder create a folder named "mods" and add them if you use frabric mods dowload fabric API on their website and if forge download their api
it's profiles
There's no .Minecraft folder
Also what
You clearly don't know what youre talking about
Brother
Sorry
Read
Oh
Only the official launcher and some cracked ones use the default .minecraft afaik
"Can i add mods to my modpack without using the Modrinth app?"
Using the Folder button is using the modrinth app...
From where did you get that modpack?
%appdata% > com.modrinth.theseus > profiles > open the folder with the name of your modpack > add your mods to the mods folder
Thats how you can add mods without using the Modrinth Launcher, if you're on windows
what
Nothing
It does work, he just needs to go to minecrafts mod folder while using the correct modloader.
He said without the app.
such wow
that's not really what i was talking about
Then be clearer
"Forge API" for example isn't a thing
and this
I have never touched prism in my life. I was a manual modder for about 9 years.
Modloaders have no role in this. Every modloader (or atleast every downloadable inside modrinth) uses the mods folder. Also, modpacks from modrinth aren't located at the default minecraft location, like already said four times now...
They're not using modrinth launcher, and they didn't specify what they were using before leaving the server
