Hey, so, I recently updated my personal modpack and while several things updated flawlessly it caused Sodium to become incompatible with several other mods i'm using. None of these mods have updated since even though they're quite high profile and at this point i'm just confused. Is it my sodium application that's broken? Who knows. (not me)

You need to show some stuff, like your latest.log.
Thank you.
oh, sure
this is the error i got
and yeah i could go and find those mods
but the thing is i tried and i just spiralled into madness as nothing worked
It looks like when you updated the modpack, Sodium for 1.20.2 got downloaded instead of 1.20.1.
As well, the Sodium addons you have are looking for a more recent version of Sodium which for some reason wasn't downloaded.
So if you just grab the latest version of Sodium for 1.20.1 that should do it.
wild
behold, my new error repot thing
i think this is the one I had before i fucked around
oh... what on earth happened here. the dependencies seem to be broken
Try removing Reese's Sodium Options as it suggests, that version won't work with the version of Sodium you have anyways. And then replace it with the most up-to-date version for Minecraft 1.20.1
I guess also by any chance are your versions of Iris or Indium also for 1.20.1, or were they downloaded for the wrong version like Sodium was? worth a double check
I'll do that when i get home
well
at least it boots up now?
i can't join the server i'm on but i think that might just be because i have the wrong version of Simple Voice Chat
(first i have to find what version I need)
here's the log if anyone wants it
updatted log after i tried redoing the Simple Voice Chat mod
this looks like an OpenGL error...? I don't know if this is a step in the right direction, but are your graphics drivers up to date?
otherwise maybe you can join the sodium discord (CaffeineMC discord) and ask for advice
ah ok, so you updated your graphics drivers and only then this issue started happening?
Nah it was happening before my computor updated
ohhh i undrstand now
but yea i would still recommend doing this as they probably know something i dont
mmm
i finally mustered up the energy to look into things again and i think this might be what's doing me in
there's also this
but:
This problem is now resolved in Sodium 0.5.0 and newer (for Minecraft 1.20.1+)
You shouldn't need to worry about this at all
maybe it's not resolved for your card specifically? but at the same time I would still recommend actually talking to the folks in the Sodium discord and seeing what advice they can give
oh wow, good to hear the problems solved! I definitely wouldn't have been able to figure that out on my own, there was nothing hinting to that
