#Mods not loading in game (Cobblemon / Farmer's Delight)
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
This is my current mods list. All mods for 1.20.1 (including Cobblemon which says 1.4.1 but that is the mod version not the minecraft version it runs on)
All Fabric mods, running with the 1.20.1 Fabric loader
Do I extract that
no, it's like its own instance of minecraft
I'll try redownloading Farmers Delight and see if that's the issue
Oh. So what do I do in this instance
https://modrinth.com/mod/cobblemon you are looking for cobblemon mod
Cobblemon wouldn't have any dependencies would it?
I'm pretty new to the modding scene
I'd really recommend using a modded launcher if you are new, like modrinth app or prism
Okay so this is likely just a result of me being silly lol
If you don't mind me asking, what for?
to manage your modded instances more easily, from being able to install mods in a few clicks (with the correct versions and loaders) to updating them, exporting them as packs to share with friends, etc
Sounds good. What do you recommend?
You said Modrinth or Prism
Which is preferable?"
I mean I assume Modrinth since that's the server we're in
probably modrinth, since it's a lot more user friendly, albeit far more buggy than prism
Are the bugs a large concern? Or just a small thing
most common are auth issues, losing all profiles (not files, but rather they just randomly stop showing up in the app) and incomplete logs
Alrighty
Oh, one other thing
I heard about a mod that would help me control mob spawning in depth but I forget the name
Nvm found it
if prism didn't require manual java wrangling and had a tad less confusing UI/UX, I'd sure would be recommending it :p
Lol okay
Idk if you know this but I don't wanna open a whole other thread for it, but do you know a command that kills all passive and hostile mobs? there's the /kill with exceptions but I don't want it to kill items, minecarts, players, or Cobblemon and there's a lot of exceptions
Just any sheep and cows or zombies etc
kill command accepts a selector
