This is happening to me as well. It actually started right after I met a certain new character ||Old Man Rickett||, so I'm wondering if it has something to do with that. It is also made worse after every interaction with this NPC.
Not sure if you 2 have met this NPC and it is causing the same issues.

Saving and exiting and then re-entering the game helps for a little while, but it is definitely happening more often.

Ok... Now it's not allowing me to sleep, use WASD as a movement option and new items are not populating into my inventory at all...

Gonna see if the inventory/game play will reset itself after midnight in this save, but if it doesn't I'm just going to leave it alone until there's a bug fix.

It did not end up saving. I had to end up shutting the game down.

I'm going to attempt to start another 2 saves. In one I will interact with ||Old Man Rickett|| and in the other I will not to see if that has an effect.

Yes this also happened on my game as well. I have blanks in my inventory and when I tried to give a gift the gift goes into the "hat" slot and removes my hat and then I was not able to move or anything. 🤔

Ok, 5th day into a new save and the disappearing sprites has begun.

This is the save in which I chose to speak to ||Old Man Rickett||. I will start another one and hold off on speaking to them and see how it goes.

My other thought was that it might be happening in saves that were created prior to the update, but this new save defuncts that idea.

Saves are located:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Unwound Games\Echoes of the Plum Grove\saves\

You can paste that into a run menu (Windows Key + R) or the file explorer bar

I was attempting to gift it to ||Old Man Rickett|| and then it 'disappeared.' It actually just transported to my Lure slot... It was really strange.

I hadn't started recording or taking screenshots at that point, so sorry I don't have anything to show.

OMR was out and about in town. I remember because I was on my way to get married.

(In game, not IRL. I know I probably don't have to clarify that, but it feels weird not to.)

I've been having the same issue. I notice it starts after my inventory is full and I try to collect something else. If I exit the game it goes back to normal until my inventory is full again.
*I'm playing in steam deck

After the last update, my inventory keeps clearing out completely. I noticed a rose in my fishing lure spot in the family tab. I switched it out with a real fishing lure and the next time I tried to sort my inventory, it went blank. I loaded my save up a couple times to retest and it was reproducible every time.

Ok, it has offically happened in all of the saves. With or without ||Old Man Rickett||, whether it is a new save or one that was played prior to the update, etc.

Hello, I have the same issue it occurred to me between the days 100 and 104 after the update. When I receive/buy/sell products they go into my inventory and their icons disappear completely except for the number of the items and the star of the product or item(if it has one). When I load in to my save the game runs fine for about five to ten minutes and then it starts the disappearing. When I pull items manually around, it starts to make slots in my inventory disappear but when let's say I open my chest or crafting bench or the refrigerator then, in those instances I can see them again like normal. So it may be an issue with the main inventory (the players inventory) and not the others (chest, fridge, etc..). Other than that I'm pretty sure when this occurred to me the "Old Man Rickett" wasn't in my game yet or hasn't loaded in (don't quote me on that) and the dried fish was my main source of food at that point (days 100- 104). What I have also noticed though it could be a different issue is that since this problem my game has gotten a LOT laggier.

I have; the save, backup, recording of day 126 and screenshots if needed.

I'm also having this bug on the 8th slot of my tool bar. Doesn't matter what item I put in there, it'll show up as blank.

Still seems to exist in v1.0.5.9s

Updated mods branch to v1.0.5.10s

It just has better debugging attached to this issue; please post your player logs if any of y'all see this issue again

Also came across this bug last night (post patch). On Switch. I'm in Summer and this save file was started before the patch came out. Random missing icon appeared in my inventory while I was fishing.

I too am having the invisible icon on my hot bar. It's slot 8 for me. If I click X to see my full inventory then I can see the item but just looking at my hot bar it is invisible. I am able to use it still and the star quality and amount are shown still. Oh, I'm on the switch. I'm also having a save issue but I'll post that separately in It's appropriate thread.
