Area is limbo - not sure how much I have to spoiler things out so I've gone for it all just in case!
In my first generation I successfully completed limbo. I had a quest left for someone down there with a potion; went back the day after completion and was able to enter but didn't take enough of the materials with me. Oh well - I'll go another time.
Nope - died that night. The next day I took over as my son, took the items out of my storage chest and everything else works fine. However on entering limbo I got a "loading" screen which just sits at "loading" forever. Tried 3 times with reloading a save and same issue each time.
Is the area now locked off to me in gen2 or is this a bug? I can still access the stairs and potion lab just going down the bottom causes the loading screen.
