can't interact with adult chickens

i can't interact with my adult chickens but can with chicks just fine. though I was able to interact with the adults the first few days but now I cant

What color of chickens are they?

Understood press WindowsKey+R at the same time and a menu called run should appear
Paste %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Unwound Games\Echoes of the Plum Grove\Saves in there

and hit enter

and should bring you to your saves

This also happened to me with both my chicken and goose! Was able to when I first got them but now I just push them when I try to interact

Yep, currently animals that have laid eggs can't be pet. Looking into it.

Mine hadn't laid eggs yet, they were just adults and could not be petted. Glad you're looking into it, but keep peace in mind. Do not rush things ❤️ Take your time

Oh, sorry if that is the case. I had a Streamer playing it on my second monitor to listen for info they discovered, since information can be sparce. He said he could name his chicken by walking up to it, but I wasn't actively looking at his stream at that time.

I also can't interact with my adult birds. I have one brown chicken, one goose, along with one chick that I can interact with

Yep! Next update or if you update to the mod/unstable branch it should be fixed
