#3-1-1 at a Win-A-Box locals tournament

Feeling good with my result so I want to share it here.

The tournament lasted 5 rounds and I think half of all 24 attendees were playing some variant of Snake Eye - mostly Pure or FK; I saw 1 or 2 people playing Dogmatika.
Other decks included at least 1 Voiceless Voice, 1 Mannadium and 2 Kashtira with the rest being rogue or less.

Top 8 included 3 Pure Snake-Eye, 3 Fire King Snake-Eye and 2 Kashtira.

Here were my matches:

  • R1 - 2-0 Loss vs Fire King Snake-Eye
  • R2 - 1-1 Draw vs Fire King Snake-Eye
  • R3 - 2-0 Win vs Vanquish Soul
  • R4 - 2-0 Win vs Orcust
  • R5 - 2-0 Win vs Fire King Snake-Eye

I'll probably drop Earlie for Heatsoul that I'm getting more used to my lines.

How did the time techs do? Were they worth the slots?

ngl i only sided them in for the game I had the draw in and my turn never came because we ran out of time.

I probably could have pulled it off because I did start Ponix in hand. I might consider dropping them for Crows which is much needed in the mirror (I feel that going to time was a rare occasion)

I just got this structure deck, any useful cards I can get that’s less than $dollars a card? Like dark hole dragon maybe…? (Yes I know cards are expensive I’m just broke)
