The Pc (Steam) platform is not crossplay supported. For Xbox, PlayStation, an Windows (Microsoft Store) Crossplay is supported. With a future game update, crossplay will become enabled across all platforms for official an unofficial ARK: SA game servers. Later in 2024, cross progression will be implemented across all platforms to ensure you can play your character from any supported platform.

Not sure it helps anyone, but when I was self hosting it wouldn't show up when I set -crossplay, I removed the setting and it showed up for steam, then added it back and others were able to join both from xbox and steam.

Same issue as Stevo... my Nitrado rented server can't be found. Rented from the Xbox app. Nitrado said they "made some adjustments" after I filed a ticket but didn't fix anything and it still can't be found. All my filters match my settings and after multiple restarts and such I'm just waiting, hoping for things to kick in. My community has 300+ waiting...

Has Nitrado (or WIldCard) put up any official docs on issues for getting Crossplay working on Nitrado? The admin trying to set up our server is not able to get it to be visible. I had no problems setting up a VM to test it out and it worked, but Nitrado is broken for us. And you can't just use the settings/command line I used since they control all that. Really frustrating as we've been wanting to play.

I've got a PC player on my server who uses a controller to play. Two days ago, sprint was working just fine, but yesterday, he couldn't sprint with controller. He can sprint with keyboard/mouse. He logged into other servers, and controller sprinting works just fine. He logged into single player with the exact same mods active, and it worked just fine. Any ideas what I can check on to see why sprint isn't working specifically on controller specifically on my server for him?

It's possible that it's one of your tribe files that are corrupt. How many tribes you have?

and see if the server launches. If it does, you'll need to make a new tribe and then use admin commands to reclaim all your stuff.

That's been the biggest corruption issue since launch. I had to do it for several tribes on my server.

You can also try using the .ark files that the server itlself uses as backups (example: TheIsland_WP_20.11.2023_01.31.36) . You'll need to sort by date modified and then work back to each one. Rename each until you find one that works.

I haven't had a corrupt world file yet, so not too sure on recovery for that.

Asa and ase help. Mostly Asa now. But I've stopped getting achivement for the last idk how many years. For ark only. I used to and now I don't. I tested it with Asa. I played with barely edited settings on medium difficult. Tamed a dino. No achievement in single player. Deleted my save. Made new one. Set all settings to default. Hit save. Hit play. Tamed a dino. And magically get the achievement.
So my question is. What does and doesn't disable achievements? I've tried looking it up and every single thing I see says you can play single player with VERY edited settings and it still gives achivements. Old and new ark. Yet I edit the settings at all and it disables them. Without admin commands on at all. Or creative mode.
I've played ever since ark came out on steam. Original ark. Same with xbox. I'm on xbox series x using Asa now

Hmmm that was only thing that caused me issue was accidentally editing one that was older. You might have to run a command for the settings then. Only thing I couldn't get working was max players in game user settings
