So I've been having an idea for a game mode in ark I think could kick ass though it would also take a lot of setting up
2 tribes of equal size starting from the same level are set as unable to attack or interfere with eachother while they gather resources in preparation for a tribe vs tribe war.
After a period of time allowing them to level up, tame dinos, build fortifications ect, building, crafting and respawn will be disabled and they fight. The task can be to simply kill all on the opposing tribe or they could do some capture the flag stuff idk, point is I think with all the different weapons fortifications and stuff shit could be epic. Walking protected dino bases with catapult mounts vs ballistas and chain bolas, the difference in focus between fortification and offensive capability, different strategies all probably with a timer

It is just a means at which tame pvp is being removed, if you troll all people do is net and tek rifle/bow, or pop a giga. The pvp of this game has been pretty harmed by nets/dismounts and although the nerfs are good pvp does suffer for it. Especially considering that on official all pvp is end game where people use suits and usually that entails high spam usage of nets. Which again ruins tame pvp. They are too easy to use with no loss or trade off.

It’s definitely possible, I let bobs build up on my server for months and they reached tek tier then I added them to my tribe. It is very possible but it really depends on the tribe’s server you’re on. Lotta toxic tribes out there lol but you’d be surprised there are good people in the game

Have you considered pve servers if you don’t wanna have that happen. Not to sound mean because I get it being wiped like that is annoying but if you’re trying to build solo or with a irl buddy it’s near impossible either way. But I respect the effort which is why we allowed bobs to build freely as long as they stayed out of our way we left them alone. I play pvp and am in the biggest Xbox tribe but as someone who has never been in your shoes I can’t say I understand but if you just wanna enjoy the game and the tames pve might be the way

Pve? I've tried pve. Most servers don't even allow taming and that is boring as all hell. When they do, it's already spammed like crazy so nobody can build anywhere. Trust me, I've tried both routes and even on pve I SOMEHOW still got raided

You’re not a fan of base building and territory claiming, I take it? One of my joys is securing an entire region for safe travel. I currently dominate the redwood forest on the island and with my wandering sentry dinos nothing stays alive except pigs and paras wandering near my base.
Working on expanding a seaside base for rapid chowder production, scuba and chowder storage, and loot stowing
I guess if you put enough time into it it gets boring but for me I delight at making progress and expanding and turning a terrifying survival experience into a leisurely stroll
Ultimately I plan to jump into pvp and test my ability to sabotage bases with minimal supplies and dinos
Goal is to thrive under constant raiding to where I can’t build a base because top tribes find and destroy newbie huts

Takes too long for anyone to respond only takes few minutes to drop a base when nothing can kill you and you can just fly passed walls Tek bubbles the only way to stop it is stop missions or turn servers off last two god mode and ghost mode got patched not even a week later these cheaters work out a solo god mode and a duo god mode and solo ghost mode we got turrets at mission points but not enough

I think it depends.
However, for windows 10, banning people is basically pointless. You can make unlimited free alts on here. Plus, with cheats, you instantly can get level 100 by clicking a single button to get all of the notes.
Can't dev wipe the tribe also when people use alts to cheat instead of their main.

Hi, I will raid a base with my tribe, and I want to tell you if its a good strategy, the base is located at one island on the right bottom of the map (the island ark map), they have 1 wyvern, a shadowmane and only 1 turret, the idea is to disstract the wyvern with a ptera, then with an estego we will empty the turret, we will kill the shadowmane and enter the base
