not even close, you can get decent weaqons and saddles. But gen 2 you literally have to play there or else you're at a disadvantage. You can use infinite weight on tek suit and farm an entire base in an hour of 2 of getting drops and have thousands of every crafting material just from demoing cliff plats, ocean plats, tek stuff, and all the other stuff

but CI is OP too, just not nearly as bad

I think the justification is less about nostalgia and more about game balance. too long to post here but PvP been in decline since they started added broken stuff in extinction. Now you get free tek suit and free base/farming from getting drops on gen 2. Also raiding been buffed so much you can't build on the main clusters (smalls and 1x) unless in a big tribe or alliance (even on smalls where alliances are banned). C4 buff, artho buff, op DLC dinos, easy to justify why pvp bad

@spiral crater I think I've heard ps4 had a decent prim plus community. Don't know if that's still true though because the mode is simply broken. There's a ton of bugs/lag/other issues. On PC it's 100% dead cause it takes 15+ min to load in for some reason.

@spiral crater Best bet for primitive pvp these days is beginner servers sadly. They are pretty fun if you can get over the limitations. Other than that hopefully lost ark will be a bit more primitive when it comes out

Gigas are easy to outrun if u see them comin especially tamed gigas as thier Stam is shit I mean if I saw it comin I could outrun it on a moschops 😂 but for a player they will need movement speed as gigas have a huge bite radius so they kill shit thats stood behind em without even turning thier head so ya gotta be quick to outrun somethin like that.wild ones are harder cos they have constant Stam but can still be out run

I create servers for a living, and there is always a way to control a server. You are pushing reteric that can be disproven with a simple command in a terminal. Why should I listen or trust what you have to say?

Again, I wouldn't play this game or purchase any of their expansions because not only do server admins rollback servers to help their pets but they also don't facilitate an environment that restricts hackers from doing what they please.

If you pay for a server then you can do whatever you want with it, but i know for a fact wildcard doesn't rollback unless its necessary to counter cheaters any other rollbacks you're dealing with is people bringing the server down on their own

Tends to happen when mega tribes go head to head, they can't fight legit so they have to ddos the server to try and undercut the other side, move to a dead server and you won't have to deal with it
