Doesn't matter what base you build. For the most part if somebody really wants to raid and has the time and resources to do it best can really be done is slowing them down. Jus make it as difficult as you can for them to get in it's all any of us can do. Careful with raft bases tho as they can sink the raft and cost you everything in it.if ya really unlucky u could have a run in with the whale and lose everythin to that as they are raft sinkers.

I mean, once again the problem is that I think it's ok as far as playing on that map alone in PvE is, since the standard seems way higher for everything since extinction and genesis, but most people play on clusters and/or PvP, where it becomes an issue.

And suddenly balance is out of the window

Even on PvE clusters they are broken since you don't need any other creature for bosses and dps if you have those. Only if you play on gen 2 alone they would probably be fine, because if everything is equally busted on that map, it's balanced again.

Same with Extinction and Element imo

I would highly advise just making Enforcers with the dust. And use a chainsaw to harvest them. You get the same if not more dust back. And plus when you craft element into dust from terminals, you only get 20% back. Hope this helped

Okay we need a serious discussion regarding pvp. The shadowmanes and void wyrms ruined official servers, don't get me wrong I like new items and new tames to change the game up but like fully dismounting somone with an aoe leaves u open to instantly die to lightning wyverns. On top of that crystal wyverns can't be used anymore in big fights and space dolphins are pretty balanced but dang I can imagine what kind of damage they can do on servers like arkpoc since there are no bloodlines. Please somone submit tickets in and get them to realize how broken the dismounting AOE is on the voids and shadows. It needs to turn into a slow down effect instead of an instant dismount. Ik it sounds lame but When I see shadowmanes I just don't bother pvping anymore cause u just can't fight it

You used to rely on your kit to survive, but since theres dinos that completely immobilize you.. what the hell matters. Who cares if you have grapples, parachute, melee wpn, shotty, comp bow, etc. none of it applies.

start out on crystal isles, with crystal wyvers, if you don't have it in the cluster, try just pte's, after that an argy, stego for soking, farmers, and slowly go to the more advanced ones

Tek saddles vs. turrets is broken. A tek saddle shouldn’t be able to shoot turrets that are set to high. It just defeats the purpose of putting them up cause no need to soak 🤦🏻
