Dolphins are broken as duck was defending my ice earlier and came out on a dolphin and killed a giga a mana 2 wyverns and a bloodstalker in less than 5 minutes

Yeah, and they're gonna be 80k+ by the time people are done mutating their HP, since that's currently the only stat that matters on them... a little wt is nice.

That said, they hit like limp noodles against anything with armor and their damage is effectively capped on tame... You're over here whining about them being OP but they're next to useless now.

The 100 dmg against a capped saddle dino, and 10 dmg against the average player armor value just doesn't strike fear into me like the true damage lasers did. Who's using them against you? Maybe I just need to come watch them and gitgud.

They absolutely do not. Current damage is 800 raw damage with double buff active, which sounds amazing. However...

Tested against 1k total armor flak with ~500 dura, barely hurt the player target.

I mean, if you're running 150 armor per piece flak and 100 hp, then sure, dolphin is going to wreck you.

And if you mean it one shots you in Gen2 "tek" suits... idk what to say.

They nerfed dolphin almost all the way out of the meta, there are still some niche uses.

Now imagine arkpoc, monthly wipe servers without bred tames. Those dolphins will literally kill every tame and you'll just get sniped from turret range. U fail to realize this cause ur a PVE bob

Because they're still pre-nerf. Dophins still ignore armor with laser, will 1 shot any player with 800hp or less, and can kill an imprinted giga in ~20 shots. They're quite a lot different now, basically they shoot wet spaghetti noodles.

Anything w/out armor or with lower armor is going to be more susceptible to dolphin rampage still, but it just really narrowed the usefulness of the dolphin given that it has no potential for increasing the damage output through breeding like, for example, manas. Manas were/are really bad until they're bred like crazy. Dolphins were just good with not much potential for getting better, apart from more HP/WT.

It was a poor dino implementation, although hilarious for a couple weeks, and then an even worse nerf implementation.

Yes, I have. You literally have no idea what you're talking about. Not even before ALL nerfs did it do 2k damage per shot to a giga. It did 1,200 max with double buff. Then it did 800 after one nerf. Then there was the range nerf. And THEN there was the "lasers no longer ignore armor", and now it does about 200 damage per shot to a giga with a capped saddle with double buff up.

This is the "nerf" you have, which is the 800 damage per shot nerf that I mentioned.

Astrodelphis Lazers now respect armor when applying damage (does not affect mission version of Astrodelphis)

This is the nerf that PC has been at.

Regardless to how wrong you were about the patch notes, you're even more wrong about 2k damage per shot. Under no circumstances has the dolphin ever done 2k damage per shot. Maybe instead of raging like an angry child, you should do some testing.
