How to double active players and profits for ARK:

• Add Offline Raid Protection, atleast 50% dmg reduction to structures and 2x turret dmg.
  Without this, no one who wants to play effective will ever do an online raid on smth bigger than a stone 2x2, although online Raids are one of THE most fun happenings in ARK for both sides.
• Add PVP timer that prevents travelling to another server or teleporting so people dont run away with all their loot in an online Raid. This possibility alone makes online raids on big bases complete nonsense currently. This is obviously not how it should be.

A better game is a game that will be bought by more people.

Everything they’ve released this year has been very heavily PvE focused, and Lost Colony is surely a great DLC, but it feels more like a PvE based story RPG with survival gimmicks and kind of lacks the ARK feeling.

Honestly bro I just deleted ARK off of my console and most likely quit ARK because of PVP. I’ve been playing PVP exclusively since I was 14 years old (legacy days on Xbox) and the ONLY time I have ever gotten anywhere has been when I’ve joined a pre-existing Mega-Tribe. I’ve played solo, I’ve played with friends but no matter what happens I always end up dying within the first week because SOME RANDOM finds me. I’ve wasted so much time and energy on this game since 2015 it isn’t even funny dude. I was just online a couple days ago on a dead Center server that hadn’t hit 5 pop all week and built a base. I made a small hidden base and went offline for the night. The next day I get on and all of my shit was killed and my base had been wiped by some guy and his pyromane. I switched servers after that and went to a ragnarok server. I made a raft base and went to the world border to go offline. I got back online to find my stuff killed by a level 110 guy and his level 301 fire wyvern. I’m just so over never having any enjoyment on my own because other people’s version of “fun” is picking on people that are just starting out. I’ve tried PVE and it just doesn’t feel the same. I like that you can CHOOSE to fight people in PVP but in PVE you don’t even get the option. I just find PVP extremely toxic and I’m done.

Thats your issue, youre building where you think is hidden, and youre building bob 2015 raft world border bases. That hasnt been pvp meta since you were 14, and thats probably why you're dying. You can tame a cosmo in 5 minutes and go build in abs ceiling, theres one specific rathole under the center waterfall thats near unraidable, spots on se, etc.. You cant build on the surface in pvp in a box and expect to survive, you actually need to hide. Take it from a pvp ase and Asa player, thats hasnt been raided or wiped as a solo in 4 years
