Center I feel is where they really started changing the maps to cater around PvE imo. I don't care they want to make one community happy but flat out dropping the other half is not helping keep the remaining players for PVP or bring new ones in and for what it's worth I really appreciate the understanding. It’s less RMT from items and more about the absolute bank people make from selling cheats and undercutting other sellers. When there wasn’t so many clients this wasnt a big issue now theres 10’s of clients and they are super cheap compared to in the past

Like for example I’m at the stage of boss fights which is hard to do when your wiped constantly by 185s and mutated dinos from other servers but just the boss themselves is hard to then take me to a more competitive level

The only way to balance creatures is remove breeding but if they remove breeding they kill the game

btw, @regal bobcat if ur looking to get into pvp with a small tribe (1-6 people). i cannot wholeheartedly recommend the official smalltribes servers. they're full of hackers, cheaters. most servers get groomed by esp every couple of days.

Obviously the cheaters are to blame however. The real problem with ark is the community. Less people play legit now because they are the players who can’t ever build up and they are able to get cheats super easily because everyone and their mom makes them. So on early ASE you were paying anywhere from $25-100 for cheats. Now you can get them for as little as $5 and even if it’s just esp and not aim it still ruins the experience for everyone

If there is absolutely no tame turrets, Strap c4 to a pt (snow owl is better if it fits as it is tankier and you can reheal for more tries), put it on neutral and high targeting, leave it as close to the entrance as possible. Be dismounted and Peak a turret with your character with a shield. Once it shoots you dip back out. The pt should fly at the turret and you detonate the c4 when its bitting the turret. If on abb, dimorphodons and featherlights work.

Yeah unfortunately they won’t be addressing anything until I guess this Friday. Maybe they will make an exception for the car meshing but when they did the fixes last Friday they should have 1. Disable the car for now and 2. Started regular server restarts every 12 hr or so.
These things wouldn’t have taken too much effort to do and the community really didn’t need anything more other than these quick fixes. Sorry you base was wiped.

I’ve had no problems, you have to make sure you don’t turn off companion mode by mistake I have done that a few times and wondered what happened, checked tracking and found dog. I’ve taken dogs to other servers with me no issues and kept companion status. There is usually mesh issues which could explain them disappearing. I’ve had dog couple days now.

Use a dino leash, turn wandering off, stop follow, tell it to sit. It will only teleport to you if you die

And when it dies it’s a 1 hour wait for it to come back. If you companion another dog in that time I think it disappears

It depends on what kinda pvp ur looking at. Late game pvp on official servers usually consists of just dinos since the gear cannot keep up with the dinos that have millions of mutations

Hey Guys, speaking on ASE here, whats the simplest way to force Alpha dragon on valg? I'm thinking 5-8 rex and a Deinonychus to bleed it while it kills the rex's

You also have to be closer to see the ping, the Parasaur can alert on stuff without you being close enough to give the ping where it is. I have a base in Autumn cave and the Parasaur always triggers on the small flyers that spawn in the cave

Center fight has a safe spot for a velo/shotgun, Rockwell fight is pretty easy up to BETA with capped shotty and Alpha is do-able, A couple rex's and a deinonychus will get the Alpha dragon on Valg down fast but you will most likely die (but itll get you transmitter/forcefeild)

If this is ASA, best bet will be looking into solo shotgun method for rockwell, I believe it still works well

If you have a capped shotty it should be enough time to do both bosses in Beta or one of them in Alpha

Assuming you mean Center boss fight

If Rockwell, two-three capped shotties should easily breeze you through BETA solo
