Every person from ark that I've met since 2015 quit or went to unofficial because 1x takes to long and land bases aren't a thing to a few other issues but mostly is the fact that everything takes forever on 1x just make it perm 3x and that alone would make ppl play official

Dude, I wish you could’ve experienced the Crystal Isles closed Small Tribes clusters. That was back when cheats weren't rampant. Crystal Isles gave everyone a chance to thrive because of the massive amount of base spots available. There were no bullshit tames either. It was basically peak ARK

There were the wyverns which were kinda broken imo because of how easy they are to get but then again the new dino countered it perfectly. it was honestly so much fun. wish i could go back to those times ...

Not on crossark servers bro, the ORP system stopped that and allowed people to actually get places and do something. Go look up soggyshronks or SP billy on YouTube I think billy had 12 people in his tribe at the highest peak and the raids were 10x better than the boring massacres that mega tribes cause

And then the spam has gotten ridiculous because of the cryopod "balance". @vapid abyss how big was the tribe you came from in PVP? And did you ever try to play solo or in a tribe of 6 or less? I mean this respectfully by the way it's a real question I mean to ask to try an put some real insight to these issues that even someone from a mega tribe is agreeing with 😦

About the only damn nerf PvE has ever truly experienced was not being able to pick things up with tames like wyvs. Which in all honesty oh well. And yeah that would happen but at least it'd upset the balance between mega tribes running everything

At least solos and smaller tribes could do SOMETHING vs nothing ya know? I do believe they needed balanced but like I said earlier just make it so they can't be dropped near enemy bases and call it a day

Because at this point PVP is really just as spammy as PvE on some servers.

Both normal and ORP Crossarks were so fun, a 10 man tribe could do insane work against reigning alphas. Had a good mix of pve and PvP too. Most fun I’ve ever had on Ark

Honestly asking for crossarks isn’t gonna do much, I think only way to get crossarks at this point is to ask a dev if we can start a petition. Like maybe getting enough signatures of verified discord accounts could make a difference. That way they know it’s legit accounts and not newly made ones

its due to the lacking of viable base locations for pvp, alpha tree, skylight, and wasteland cave are all gone and most of the map minus a few spots are all flat an open, and then the absolutely massive alpha tribes that currently run official. with little to no base locations it makes it rough.

What people don't realise is they already made the unraidable loot last time (again, bobs tall tales) with the linked storage + c4 trap mechanic.

Loot only drops from the final powered ones drop bag. And with all 4 c4 trapped enemies can only detonate. The storage has only 500 hp so goes poof. Tribe m8s can remove the c4 unlike enemies and access. Enemies have to find all 4 on the map to get loot.

Can we get rid of building in artifact caves on all maps? Would crash the RMT base trade markets on top of that would make starting late on a server possible again and would increase not only the population of the game on official servers but the amount of money you as developers would make allowing more players to play the game and being beginner friendly. There is not one server you can join that would allow you to start without either paying money paying ELE or resource tax or just straight getting wiped this wouldn't get rid of that completely but would allow players starting on a server a fair chance to stand up to bigger tribes. It would also decrease the amount of mega tribes on smalls teaming to take over servers to then flip them and sell them for money. You should also work on developing club ark giving it more attention. Great concept giving players different ways to get a start on a server without actually having to risk getting their dinos wiped and killed. Extinction in my opinion is one of the best ark style maps allowing for Artifacts and boss fights be accessible to the many and element veins and OSDS being a great way to get good loot to compete with more stacked tribes. Limiting ratholes but not deleting them would be a good thing in my opinion too allowing smaller groups a way to safely get started. I think the no spawning in ratholes thing is a good deterrent for big groups living there as well so respect on that.

The biggest problem with ark right now as well as why you see many people complain for more servers like for PVP smalls is because each tribe is searching for domination of the entire server and people know if they don't start off wipe they wont stand a chance later in the wipe so they want a fresh server to start on after they lose cause they don't want to restart on a server that is old. A big way i think this could be solved which you already see on some clusters on ASE is fresh wipe servers that allow newer tribes to start on and get everything ready then transfer to the older ones with stacked dinos so they can compete. I think a good wipe time for these servers should be around 2-3 months allowing for good lines to be bred. You shouldn't be able to transfer things into the fresh wipe servers but should be able to transfer out. Kinda the concept of your conquest servers but being linked to the small tribes i think conquest servers are a great idea but a waste of important money and resources so why not link the 2 and make this idea possible. This would give conquest players more population and competition without getting rid of the concept of a fresh wipe every other month.

Some say these are bob ideas but for the most part i think it would help with the games future. Let me know.

I was playing 9402 ext solo, and had a decent start going had a high level snow owl n stuff but then i was just flying around and saw someone literally clip an entire pistol magazine into my legs while i was full speed diving on my owl while strafing. Then 5 minutes later i see a speedhacking owl fly by. I made the conscious decision to just despawn all my loot and quit on that server in additionaly alerted the support team they said they took an investigation but no action has been taken yet 1 day later they might've now but idc to check again...

Next to no viable base spots on extinction, stegos have been nerfed, pay to win dinos being nerfed, the new structures meant to be used in PVP aren't even viable in extinction unless you're playing PvE or in a mega tribe.. at what point do anyone who's not in a mega tribe or PvE can catch a break?

I miss when you were able to be a solo or small tribe and actually make plays or be able to build under the radar enough to survive.

I'd say more but earlier I got muted here by countryelf just for posting battle metrics shows that the numbers for PvE vs PvE and ASA vs ASE aren't what we've been told they are.

ASE extinction was a lot more PVP friendly like most of the other maps were, ASA extinction is extremely flat and lacking most of the structures and locations used by people in PVP that's also a huge reason why the PVP server pop for extinction dropped so quickly even vs other maps dropped thus far in ASA. I played ASE since 2015 and only stopped about a year ago after upgrading systems just for ASA and seeing how they keep doing the PVP community especially now.. man I really wish I didn't. So far the map that's closest to how it was in ASE was scorched earth

They are similar to an extent but def not the same maps. Meta excluded. If you add the metas being what they are now it's def not the same map.
