Any tips on getting soakers leveled up quickly? Only thing I do currently is toss them in a cryofridge for about a week and then pump points into hp. Seems like there should be a faster way to level them up in bulk though.

Achitania paste, phoenix pearls, penguin baby poly, oil pump say hi. Duping was always a thing before gen if you dont remember tribes crashing servers on purpose back then. The meshing sucked true but asa seems to be ahead on that by giving meshers quetzal sized holes. Extinction leveled the playing field. Now they could get element without having to somehow get cave artifacts.

a lot of people only have time to play on weekends. The interval could be up to 4 hours once a week, and that will allow a lot of time to raid, but still let people do their own thing during the week

Am I the only one constantly hearing about meshing into bases on PvP servers lately? In the past two months, I've heard about/experienced five incidents where cheaters have raided bases by going though the terrain.

Has anyone else experienced this? And how can it be prevented, any tips?

Ok I'll explain center is very meshable atm se is like a 5/10 and island is the hardest map make sure to have loads of internals but honestly meshing hasn't really been a issue on asa yet

Ayo survival ascended mesh is relatively easy to counter, turrets can now shoot into mesh as long as your whole floor isnt fully foundationed and you have holes for turrets to shoot through or have mesh specific turrets that will soak rockets and players, another good mesh defense is having aggro dinos, they are just an overall good base defense even skilled players can be thwarted by an aggro dino, so make sure you have some base defense specific dinos on aggo and ignore group whistles away from your hatching.

I don’t think Dollie or skittles have direct control over changing cryos but they for sure have the power to pass word along that the community in mass would rather have ase cryos. People don’t play PvP just to be pve because nothing raidable right now people are forced to be more pve. If the community had a vote right now vast majority of players would choose ase cryos, if not make a small tribes only vote because the only players voting no are regular official which probably needs different raiding rules anyway

There was a while ago on ase where official rathole rules where outlined (it was during the time where they made building all of abb zone on val bannable on smalls). You have to be able to walk in or crouch in the entrance or fly in with a tek suit. If you can't access without KO or zipline, climbing picks, mounting a chair or dino or ladder it is bannable on official. if you can see open mesh or any mesh hole in the rathole it is bannable.

Consider this. They had to make it so on PVE wild creatures can't be picked. Why would they have to do that? Because people will drop wild aggressives in others bases hoping to kill their tames so they can loot them. Even with precautions like this. People will still lure alphas and dino block bases to make people quit so they can loot them on decay. The truth is there is no PVE. There is only PVP and PVP with more steps.

Just make sure to have back-up bases or stashes. I always play official PVP with the mindset that the next day I login to a raided base. People get too attached which leads to bad decisions and ragequitting

It wouldn’t change much, things already run rampant, wipes could be often or just let it run rampant and see how it plays out, shit even if it just became a last man standing/point system style pvp servers like clubark. Not sure how this could all be implemented though but obviously attachment in ark is high enough to justify it i guess

I’m just not sure how to mitigate the obvious that of a lot of tribes having max tames and capped gear could be an issue but over time that would either work itself out by people collecting over time or stuff like CArk idk why, I really respect a point system even though it’s a dino game, ark has always been very number/stat heavy anyway

The only power creep in the game itself is the meta of certain tames, otherwise the only crutch anyone has over you is time and experience. This makes all of the OP stuff (that is def coming) like titans less of an issue for smaller groups who just want to get on, have some fun and get rekt tbh, because they will get rekt regardless
