The rollback will be about 12 hours, which aligns with our prior deployment last night.

We are also noticing item loss during ascension when attempting to download back to Scorched Earth. We're hoping to fix that ASAP. More news to come!

You have to do. Brood mother and beta monkey or beta manticore to use tek turrets.

No they aren’t, they are slower, have a lower base health, and are way less maneuverable. The only benefit is fitting 3 riders on but 3 terror birds are drastically better

The trick is, you have to accumulate 50 vacation days and use them all consecutively. Spend 20hr/day each day of those 10 weeks grinding and raiding as much as you can. Then, return to work and see how quickly you get wiped 🫡

To be honest, I no longer understand why these official ARK game forums and especially the “Game Suggestions” section are needed. For 6 months now requests to add ORP and Hardcore servers are the most popular... But there is still no reaction of the Devs. Then there is no point in all these forums, if there is not even the appearance of working with the audience... Although looking at the current player stats I can easily notice a pattern between the attitude of developers towards players and minimal online stats in comparison with ASE

Gone is the old WC when ASE first was released as EA and they listened to the community. Why does everyone want orp so bad is that not what unofficial is for?

Because we dont want to play on unofficial servers. On official the only thing we have to contend with is hackers and cheaters but we get the stability of all maps being released on time, up to date patches soon as they release, unabusive admins(practically non existant but still there), the servers being up the majority of the time. Unofficial its just toss your dice and maybe you find a good cluster, an admin that doesnt abuse his power or kit out his friends or PAYING members, servers might be wiped cuz....reasons. Owner may lose interest and stop paying for them etc etc. Also i like vanilla experience and hate all the mods and the insane rates.

InB4 gotta find a good server/admin/cluster.

It also has the added benefit of not being toally deserted as most unofficial are barren aside from 1 or 2 players.

ORP offers the ability to log off when done playing and not having to worry about being wiped due to RL responsibilities.

It also has the added benefit of forcing attackers to actually fight players and not just soak bullets for a few hour uncontested, therefore forcing actual PvP.

Yeah I get that completely but that's just been ark for such a long time and is the only crutch for smaller tribes to be able to progress by raiding presides as the other maps come out some spots are broken and a pain to online

You o get the occassional tribes or players that do log off soon as they get engaged but 15 minutes of free attacking is a blessing for those of us that played ORP. We were very good at breaking into bases within 15 minutes and doing tremendous amounts of dmg.

The mechanics and meta of ORP servers were and are very different than Smalls or Regular servers.

There was alot of politics involved as well considering we had 2 clusters of ORP servers. So that meant only those that played on ORP could transfer to other ORP servers very closed off from the drama of mega alliances and everything else.

It always was its own thing. the 2 ORP clusters were isolated from all other servers even from each other. So CA5 could only access ca5 servers and ca6 the same.

We had 1 map for each cluster so it was fun and was enough for us ORP players. We arent asking for 50 servers just at least 1 or 2 clusters. Thats 2 or 4 servers currently. Not a huge thing so i dont get the choice to not give us those servers.

When ASE ended we had a total of 18 servers out of what 2 thousand that WC had as official?

Pushing an offline cave in 15minutes is not even remotely possible, with the curret building (turrets placed on caveterrain) and the cryochanges you will need at least 6 hours to get into a decent build cave with legit measures. The raiding circumstances right now basically are an ORP already by making caves even take a long time to offline raid and near impossible to online.

and be online to rebuild the damage as they can only do it one c4 at a time

Unlikely they will use a tek gun though because they just "int" c4 to the person doing the exploit then blow whatever he touches, they can also ride dinos too so he can be on a terrorbird to travel further as the exploit means they have 10-15 seconds to run as deep as they want inside your base before they get kicked from the server

so bear traps, walls, cryofridge walls, etc etc everything you can do to slow someone down or from getting deeper into your cave

we put so many hours into a medium pearl cave and they meshed it. we had like 90 capped turrets half tek half heavies and our base was destroyed in a half an hour.

All pearl caves can be meshed from any angle. Walls ceiling and floor all can be meshed so I wouldn't build in one at all.

Clearly there is a significant enough portion of people asking for an ORP cluster, and as we saw in ASE there was much more people playing on any particular ORP server than any small tribes or 1x server, so why has it not been released yet? There's even a better chance that ORP players will be able to promote the game more than people on regular official as well since they actually have a life and friends that they can get to purchase the game and play with them.
