Its super annoying trying to defend a base when your 30-60 seconds swimming around biting but there's no hit markers and poof you're back in the cave entrance.... Land bases just aren’t viable tho, no matter how good you build it or what spot it is you can wipe in pretty quick with a few stegos and a ling

Anyone know tribe ranks who can help getting the settings correct? We want to make assistant admins. Regular group is rank 5, assistant admin rank 7, which has the ability to invite/kick rank 5, and can set/change pins for rank 5. The invite/kick is working, can set a pin, but can't rank up the structure past 5 so pins are required.

Currently access rank 6, inventory rank 7, new structure inventory rank 5, new structure access rank 4. The idea is that most placed structures will be at general group rank, then rank up and pin code as needed.

I’m looking for 3 leaders who can each lead an Individual tribe capable of recruiting 3 other members per tribe. Making it 4,4,4,4 16 in total players! All in alliance with each other, all covering a different cave! I think this strat might work! And I think we can stack turret towers together! 4 alliance 16 players and then if it works well we can work on expanding and having more alliances/players on the server instead of being one giant tribe! Everyone would have their own roles based on the cave they have! Depending on what cave you have you will be required to gather an extreme amount of resources and trade/share with each alliance. Creating a united server! In my opinion I feel like people don’t use the alliance to their advantage! And we could possibly break the game and rid ark toxicity!

Biggest problem is lack of content and if you want to play official the whole raiding and pvp meta feels off especially the cryopod change is just completely dumb

You can only throw cryopods within range of a cryofridge, the Cryofridge has a 5 min cooldown upon placing it, it needs a gen to work, you can’t throw cryos within like 7 foundys of enemy players/dinos/structures. Can’t cryo a game for 60 seconds after taking damage

Flyer pvp with rhynios is kinda unfun, it’s just spam picking till someone ran out of grapples. Pts get sniped way to fast and argys are to slow to be viable against rhynios. Hitboxes on comp are ass, and desyncs are just as much of a problem as ever

Online raiding with current lines and the cryopods is basically impossible

Also slpash damage on Rockets/c4 is fucked with and now splits damage between all hit structures. Need like 3 rockets for heavy’s in 6x when running

No there’s not, but the 5 second delay is usually enough for a narc nade to tranq you

If you think about the idea of one big tribe! Everyone has to be on the same page and everyone has to get along with each other! It can become overly complicated managing a large tribe! I think the 4 alliances and 4 people per tribe separates it in a unique way! 4 people getting along would be easy while mainting four leaders who talk amongst eachother in a discord and also with the other tribes people! It would be more effective in my opinion

How long you been playing ark? Im gonna assuming you’ve tried it before? Cuz you speak on it with from experience! I’m just curious and would like to learn more! It seems like a lot of people stick to the same methods constantly and complain the game is crap! I mean everyone thinks in the box doing the same thing the next tribe is doing that’s why the game is boring! People rather use exploits like meshing! Cheating all types of crap! But I’ve yet to see a YouTube video explaining why nobody uses alliances and people don’t think outside the box with new Shii!

A rule of thumb I use, if you’re playing with a small number of people like 18 or less you’re better splitting the 18 up into 3 separate tribes of 6 on small tribes because on regular official you can get easily wiped by a bigger tribe just because they have more members. I personally like small tribes because it’s not as much of a numbers game and it really comes down to quality over quantity when it comes to tribe mates. And you can still have alliances in small tribes you just can’t team

No one uses 'alliances' as either you trust someone enough to be in your tribe fully or you dont. If you dont trust them why bluetag which allows them to walk up to deathwalls and c4, to walk into the back of your base and steal. There is just no point really.

So if you put pillars on the roof of the pearl or structures protruding into the mesh above from inside, then the meshed carbo gets pushed out

No. You can build in a cave but you need like 20+ foundation spherical radius clear of structures to where a loot drop spawns. If it's in a carno you can build just where the deathwall would be, no lower than the stalagmites go down. The bottom loot drop spawns
