The problem was the leash. Because I have the leash close to the transmitter. Ran the boss and when arrived at the arena pulled them back teleporting them immediately back to my base. I wasn't able to do the boss. I died because I was without Dinos. Some other got pulled as well but didn't calculate correctly and are underground.

Only 3 Dinos were in the boss arena. And of course I died.

Every time I lose something because of bugs. Now understandable is this bug and it's not that easy to handle coding that.
But they should tell you about these things. Also every time there's an update something else break.

Yes sorry. If someone else runs the boss and is successful your Dino’s should teleport out

I will try to adjust the radius and see if it pulls them back. But I guess it will pull them back without adjusting the height of the Dinos. I will try now and disconnect so it goes on stasis and out of rendering

Just being cautious but maybe use a second leash to ensure they don’t fall further into the mesh. I don’t use leashes often to know exactly how they work so I am just thinking of possibilities

I think I'll remove the leash. I had 2 before separating Dinos. There was once a leash on the water to grow Dinos with maeguana. And often the maeguana got teleported on the other leash on rendering and my water Dino died.

They should remove the leash. I used it because I wanted to avoid building too many gates and walls to prevent lag

But you gave me an idea with making now the radius smaller and hopefully will pull them back adjusting the height

It does annoy me because I spend time and money and every time I do something there's a bug and I have to think about how to avoid them. Many times are human mistakes.

Top stat is really dependant on what u want, do u want maximum amount of resources or a better amount of loot?

160% crafting skill is max for resources i believe if its for loot look for the highest u can find above that number

They didn't help out with this in ASE either, best you would get is a max lvl 200 dino, even if your dino was maxed out lvl 450, and as some sauce on the top they'd give you a force-tamed creature that could be ridden without saddle.. Still max lvl 200.

Uhh, it's how transfer cooldown works, you should have stuff you wanna transfer in your inventory before cooldown ends, if you don't, you gonna wait another 15 min

It's not a mod but two base game skins, the fireworks flaregun and the fireworks rocket launcher. You get them pretty often if you hunt plesiosaurs and alpha mosas.

Although if you decide to teleport to another bed you will drop all your stuff

And just wake up naked

And respawning ofc, beds are very helpful for respawning

If you lie down using the action wheel, you're safe, at least as far as being carried away is concerned, with any type of bed. A simple bed can still be destroyed by other players after 4 days due to the decay timer, even from outside the base, if the bed was placed right at the edge of the walls. A bunk bed would be even better, of course, due to its longer decay timer. But as mentioned, to protect yourself from other players pulling you out when they get in, a simple bed & lying down properly is sufficient. The TEK Sleeping Pod only gives you additional EXP while you're offline, which you then passively accumulate 🙂

You look for a server with decent people in it on the week days. Join. Get started and then go to the terminal and see where the other players are. Or look up that server cluster in the search bar. You will see a list, and it will show you the complete community. If you are looking for a decent modded one. I used to play on ARKADE. Though it has died down a lot. But there are server clusters and people don’t all choose one map.

I did 'Upload Survivor'.

I clicked Cancel on the next screen.

Exit to Main Menu.

Tried to start up Ragnarok.

Right before i clicked Ragnarok i got an error & Ark did shut down.

I restarted the game, launched Ragnarok.

But 'Download Survivor' is NOT in the list..

I can only see 'Create New Survivor' & 'Respawn Existing Survivor.

Is my character gone 😅 ?

Did you disable lightshafts? There’s an area down there that causes a ton of people to crash or get massive amounts of screen tear on subpar machines. It’ll dashboard Xbox’s and cause mediocre pcs to get really bad screen tear over by one of the bobs notes to be exact, the note located at 53.1x77.2 that whole area a no no zone.

So now that they hired a bunch of industry ue5 professionals to work on/fix the game, what do you guys think the chances of them bringing single player up to unofficial standards of running? I mean like no more hibernation, fixing resources and creature spawns, I would love if they somehow reworked transferring in single player to make it more stream lined. And obviously fixing ascention issues. I'm just hoping with the game on eu5 now and with the engine upgrade and devs that know the engine front to back, maybe we'll actually see some improvements

hibernation, fixing resources, and creature spawns. aren't broken. they are limited to the area around you to not require way more specs then needed.

transferring in singleplayer can't really be changed like maybe it asking you which map and instantly go into the other one but I doubt that'd happen.

I haven't ascended personally yet but I've heard countless stories of people losing stuff while ascending/transferring on single player. And creature spawns are broken. It's a well known thing that even in Asa some creature spawns are hit and miss. Like penguins on the island, I've also heard people saying wyverns sometimes don't spawn. Resources not respawning has been a issue for years. And by no hibernation I mean the world being alive outside your "bubble" like on a server VS single player even with prevent hibernation enabled through steam launch commands you still have to fly over the whole map to get creatures to spawn

hibernation is an intended limtation to not require as much. its intended and won't change.
creature spawns are effected by that, the penguins not spawning should've been fixed years ago. haven't heard about wyverns but probably the same situation that caves have where you just need to wait near them sometimes..

losing stuff on ascension also happens on servers, its do to it uploading your survivor. just drop everything onto a dino prior to ascending.

I know hibernation was intended to save resources running the game and server on single player, I was just hoping that with the fps and backend improvements they might someday get rid of hibernation. And the penguins thing, I've played the island countless times, half the time penguins just don't spawn, I'm not a dev by any means but I think the creature spawns issues may be a separate issue to hibernation. I could be completely wrong though

Hi, does anyone know of a private server with the No Flyer mod (which prevents flying dinos) and the Ark Primitive Survival mod (which removes all tech items and some overpowered dino saddles)? I haven't been able to find any online after months of searching.

hibernation makes it so the game only does stuff near you, spawns included so it can mess with them. especially in caves that don't load until you are inside them.
I imagine the icebergs have some weird issue to do with that as spawns are more or less the same as on servers.

No, it's been a thing since last weekend. Any newly created cryopods are acting like they're food or similar on official pve. They can be transferred once and then not again, their timer just resets on server save.

Yes shasta only eat fish, if you are using a mae with high food stat then each piece is worth a lot of food. So they won't eat until they are really low.

There are some red lights that mark the edge and you will hear a sound when u get closer, the closer you get the louder it will be to you.

I’ve learned on a really poorly optimized server (too many conflicting mods and poor ini config) -Eldermere to be exact if the ping goes over 150 (would spike between 295ms-415ms I’d usually sit between 34ms-59ms im on 10gb up/down dedicated business fiber I assure you the ping issue is not on my end.) the bleed doesn’t work. You’ll get slightly higher damage compared to the regular attack and no bleed.

Yes that adds up, all the stat points plus 1 is the level. However a 452 argy wont hatch, or rather it'll hatch but be instantly deleted by the server if you are on official. Because it's over the 450 level cap.

I you are playing on single player I suggest : LCJ bench by lcj73 hands down best all around mod basically has everything to make the game easier. All tools farm at a rate of 10x and armor has built in unlimited glider plus crops and fertilizer are super fast growing. Also use: Alfa Stack 10k-90% by matheusrp11 it is amazing because it lets you stack resources to 10k and cuts weight by 90%

tldr game clacs the food drained, hp lost, food gained (eating) and any item movemnt (from eating) when someone renders it

so sometimes, the food gained just isnt calced fast enough and they die before the game catches up and relizes they ate

also lags like hell if you do enough item movement

cart -> trough -> 300~ dreadnought = crash server after 5 min unload
