Yes each blueprint can have differences on materials.

What I can say, you can try to find someone who trades a cheaper blueprint.
I gave that one for free as I was feeling generous however did not expect it to be that expensive.
Or loot some caves, you might be lucky 1 day to find a cheaper takes time to find in caves but can be worth the time and can be rewarding as you can find other blueprint that you might need in the future

You get thousands of hide per sheep if you do it right and also do it when there's rates on. You can use a theri too, it isn't as good as the chainsaw but you don't have to keep dropping the pelt and mutton.

You've got the city, sunken forest, arctic and desert. Anywhere outside those is considered the wasteland.

Then, you can split up the wasteland into sulfur fields, normal wastes, and the forbidden zone in the north where King Titan resides.

If you're looking for the absolute most dangerous place to live, its the forbidden zone.

Because...

It is FORBIDDEN. 🚫 🚫 🚫

However, unlike the rest of the wasteland, more of it is protected from meteor showers, yes, they will destroy your base on impact.

I'll let you figure out on your own why its the most dangerous, I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise.

If u are playing on Ascended, all energy sources have an "wifi" radius around them, so no need for cables. The manual connections with cables is only for Evolved. You can turn the generator radius visible by holding E (if on pc) while looking at the generator and setting on the Wheel.

Best wood gatherer is therizino you just need a high weight mate with you (such as argy) or team up with a mammoth just for the weight. Let me catch you later for some good sellers dc servers. However to pay for those you need to be more advanced because you pay with advanced resources.
I'd say you start breeding your own batch of good base stat dinos and later immerse in the buying of breeding pairs

Yes and start to breed them. You'll advance with mutations a little bit, condense the good stats in a single dino, have the imprinting bonus and the imprinted buff. Breeding is the first step to advance your dinos, you start with what you can tame (good stat) and then start thinking about buying breeders. You can also ask in your server if they have some good stat dinos to breed with (usually your females with their males) and you can get better stats that way, before buying the top ones

Usually in your own server you can deal with resources your lvl

Just started playing astraeos and enjoying it. I like to go in blind on maps and find everything, but I also know that Ark isnt always designed to be 100% self discovery friendly. I did this on Fjordur but had to rely on outside sources for the runes, which considering theres 200 is i think understandable, but when trying to get all the artifacts or find the minibosses i struggled to discover them all. Especially Baela on Fjordur, i really expected to find her in the 3rd forest biome, vanaheim iirc, so i definitely did not find her without looking it up.

If im trying to find all the artifacts on Astraeos, and not while taking weeks, will i be able to without looking them up?

yeah that's kinda exactly what happened to me, in Astraeos.. I had to use one of the window i got in and upload myself out of that hell 😧😔 Took few tries but i managed after a while.. keep trying, try to reach an ob and be in there waiting for an stable moment you can log in and transfer out.. Then put this server on a blacklist

If you are in a safe place just wait few hours, servers usually don't stay "unplayable" for much long, unless there's some issue with the cluster

I have a question about base ownership transfer

I currently have two separate bases on The Island. One is my main base with all my resources, and the other is just a secondary tree base with no items inside. I would like to give that second base to a friend, but I want him to keep his own tribe — I don’t want to merge tribes or transfer my entire tribe ownership.

Is there any way in ASA to transfer structures or an entire base to another tribe directly?
If not, what is the safest method to achieve this without risking my main base or tribe?

You would need to pick up all structures in your secondary base and then give them to your friend. There's no way to transfer ownership of structures otherwise.

Allies can access your base if they know the pin code to things or you unlock everything that can be interacted with, but the structures will still belong to you. If you want them to have complete ownership, you'd have to take down the base and give them all the structures so they can place it themselves.

Rexes is a bit hard for dragon

The firebreath demolished my friends highly mutated rexes and we ended up switching to pyros (they take no fire damage)

Broodmother and megapithicus is doable with rexes

Overseer is very hard to get ur rexes there ane we ended up doing it with 4 velo’s and a stego

yeah dragon is a challenge to most, high melee rexes can outpace the fire
it's not that they are the best for all the bosses, most bosses u can cheese with a combo of like 3 specific dinos, but they are decent all rounders
yeah tek cave is always a challenge just moving the army, but since u can just clear it with a cracha, moving the army slowly diminishes any losses

Use tamed titans, the ice and forest if possible. If that isn't an option then dreadnoughts are very good but unless they are high stats expect some to die. Or mass giga/carcha works too. Just expect to lose some of what you take in. Also staying alive is important because if you have to derender him, he can regain hp. Make sure to damage him enough to prevent his charged up attack, he'll raise his fist in the air and charge up. If he pulls that off everything will die.

Bring a couple of sets of hazard to protect from flamethrowers and use until Lost King goes down then switch to high durability flak for the Queen. 4 deinotheriums help a ton for the buffs and they wreck rock golems. Also make sure you bring plenty of med brews. Honestly Lost King is more of a slog than a difficult mission.

Depends the place you're looking for but normally you should be fine.
A good place would be a place where you can breed water tames and land tames.

I think something has been done to bosses recently because theri's with those stats shouldn't really struggle with dragon as long as they have good saddles. I've noticed several other boss fights seeming to be a bit more tough than they were in the past. Like I ran gamma king titan recently and it seemed tougher than when I've done it in the past.

Yeah nothings been said but that doesn't mean there hasn't been some kind of adjustment somewhere. They do shadow patches all the time plus then there is unintentional changes when they add things to the game.

Honestly I wouldn't bother mutating yuty. As long as you have decent hp and stam then just imprint and put a good saddle on it. Ideally it should never be fighting, you just whistle your theri's to attack and keep them between the dragon and you. If he gets to your yuty it's as good as dead anyway no matter how many muts it has.
