Could always just put three doeds on the front of the ship and ram it into the light posts, won’t have to drop stuff if there’s various inventories it could theoretically enter lol

But if it’s unofficial I recommend the solo farm mod, it makes creatures like anky and doed swing and gather past encumbrance limit and while it still affects the creature that is carrying it- it is massive for resource harvesting in general. It’s piss easy to use too and has a lot of good customization options

I dont use midas touch but like speedy harvester. Movement speed buff is clutch on foot especially when just starting on a new map. Plus there's a skill for less stamina drain while sprinting and on top of that the scout armor makes you use less stamina. So you can sprint for a long time now I love it.

Also speedy harvester works with dinos. So on a flyer just take out a few trees and you get some decent speed.

Normal strong boss dinos work well for rag boss. Things like boss rexs or theris etc. She has a lot of health and flies sometimes and the adds are deathworms so stronger tanky tames are needed. But otherwise the fight is straight forward with no special gimmicks and it has a longer timer to allow for the time she spends flying.

Since it'll be using doeds/ankies with weight reduction traits I figured going a little more combat/protection focused might be good. Theri's can make use of veggie cakes for healing so you go for 21k hp and as much melee as possible, 800+ should be able to handle most bosses. Rexs you would want at least 35k hp (45k is better if you can) and over 900 melee for most bosses. But just as important is saddles, good saddles are needed.

Not really, it's rng. But the better base stats before tame increase your chances. But we can roughly guess what you might get. So a perfect tame 150 giga will come out to 224 (225 is only possible with commands) thats 74 extra levels split across 6 stats, if it divides between them equally its about 12 points per stat so to get 53 points it would need to be 41 points health before tame. But it is rng and it might only get 5 extra points or 20.

So...actually, the orbs spawn even if you go in with nothing. For some reason, a random reaper seems to be hostile to Rockwell, and will attack him (and do no damage from what I can see). I'm betting this makes the game think you have a tame.

I would say don’t use battle tartare, it stops you healing so if you are getting hit by stuff, brews won’t work. You could try on a stego, or using a tek suit to fly around which might make avoiding orbs easier. Some say use a pistol or assault rifle to shoot the orbs but I find that more annoying than just using one weapon but might work for you

u are supposed to fight them 1v1 on foot
possessed thralls ignore the resistance so that a good option, thyla and carno bleed bypass their resistance
only thing that needs a real change is resource caches, either the numer/level of neophytes nerfed or the loot really increase

If you really want to do it you can try basilisk approach. Take few megalos, ride basilisk, do not take shoulder pet or it will die anyway, just whistle megalos to attack rockwell, bite tentacles with basilisk, you get electricity dismount protection on basilisk. Position basilisk tail on orbs (they will hit basilisl far from rider this will prevent you getting damaged). Have flak and med brews in case.

i run around with max hostile stacks in the city for hours without ever seeing a neophyte, just glitch them

Them being glitched has been patched. That’s the thing. You can’t run around for hours anymore. I didn’t even know they were a thing before they fixed it. Now it’s just a miserable experience in the city.
