In all fairness the animated series was good, but it tried to shove 2020 problems the world had of anti white and anti men in our faces like plenty of shows that got shot down tried to do. It is racist and sexiest to do on either side and shouldn’t be over done. No one likes their food overcooked which is was they did they overcooked the politics in this show.

The only good part of her back story, was the part of her being young and her mom protesting, then her and her gf briefly, the parts that should have been more in depth were her work and what she did. Instead it went more in depth on BLM and LGBTQ, Nothing actually important on how she’s so smart at all, she’s literally a genius and we all have no clue why besides she studied dinosaurs and gave 1 speech

So far, she only has a rex that was killed off.

But has yet to deserve her 'Beast Queen' title that the show wants to throw around.
Also, Rockwell apparently betrayed the redwoods tribe before the events of the show.
Feel like we should've seen this in show, as it would've made Rockwell's character a bit more interesting.

If what Jeremy said is true, and they're making one of the character arcs in reverse. That means Rockwell will turn good later on.
But how will that work, when NO ONE will like him?
He worked with Nerva, he betrayed the tribe Helena is with and caused tens to hundreds of possible deaths, and forced Helena to watch as her new friends gets consumed by a rex.
Than, he'll have to go back to being evil again if they're sticking with the fundamental point of the main plot. Which is Rockwell mutating and becoming a monster.
So...he turns good, just to turn bad again?

For the last few seconds of his life, he was "good" again.
In the game, he goes from good, evil, to good again.
In this show for this to work, he'd have to go evil, to good, to evil again, than to good.
Adding an extra layer that just becomes repetitive.
In the beginning, it's also a lot more easier to trust Rockwell in the game. Cause he actually acted nice to Helena during The Island and Scorched. Cause he's a manipulator.
Why would Helena trust/make up with him if he's been nothing but an asshat throughout their entire interactions?
