I’m not sure why wildcard is like this but it’s been like this forever. They like to sit on stuff, I’ll bet every dollar I ever own the series is already finished and they’re just waiting for a good PR time to release it to maximize its success. Fuck the player base, they’re only interested in new players, so their entire marketing department is balls deep in innuendos and commercially pleasing results. 2015 wildcard was primo, they dropped scorched earth on us without a single peep, no trailer ahead of time, no amping up the community, just threw it at us on a Tuesday morning out of the blue. THATS the kind of good content creator releases we need again, not this fluffy tongue-in-cheek marketing nonsense nobody is interested in.
