Just learned today that Genesis 2 uses real star-maps.

Each warp, goes to a different area of different galaxies.

We go from the Milky way, to Andromeda, to the Emission Nebula.

And by the end of Genesis 2, the new planet is in the Milky way.
And from what it looks like (using real star navigation. Of stuff like the Big Dipper.) seems like we're on the polar opposite side of the Sol-System. Aka our system.

So we're on the opposite edge of our galaxy in ARK 2, if this is correct.

it is the end of ARK's story, the goal set out for us before our adventure began was completed and we had done what we had worked for

No, I do like the new story. I think it tells the story it wants to tell and perfectly explains the transition for ARK 1 to ARK 2. It's just that when I was going into it, I was expecting a level of quality I had associated with the previous DLCs, I wasn't expecting to see Marc's style, I was expecting to get good answers and a well written story. Plot holes aren't a device a writer makes to enhance the story, they're accidents, and in a cohesive not very complex but rich Story like ARK's is, they're hard to deal with, especially when they're involving very important aspects of ARK's Universe. I do like this story it's telling, but I think they could do better in getting it across.
