the reason the forest doesnt have one is because the ground gave in and the entire forest proto-ark sank into the ground

that is why its called the sunken forest

also the protoark's dome was destroyed in the process so thats why theres no bubble

Hard to say for certain since their sizing and distance between them is so inconsistent. Overseer arena shows Ab and Scorched are pretty dang close to the Island Ark, but assuming they're laid out in the hexagon-sphere pattern we see during the Ascension cutscene they should be way further apart

The fact that we canonically can't stay dead, and there's no punishment for it other then an inconvenience of the set back, doesn't get me invested in 'our' story as the survivor.
I'm far more interested in the explorer notes, cause there's actually consequences to characters actions.

And if we where to remove all the respawning sutff with the Survivor, it wouldn't effect the story at all and respawning would just be seen as a gameplay mechanic.

Due to ARK's somewhat simular biblical nature to the Christian bible. I wonder if this actually would be something worth checking.

It could be. Especially if you consider that maybe the overflow of element on ab means that the corruption just gets wiped out somehow by the element, while on ext there is barely element, and corruption roams freely.

Yesn't.
We see Corruption at the end of Gen-1, but never again throughout Gen-2.
Gen-2 though has Rockwell transforming the ship on an atomic level to make the ships metal both meat-like, and part of himself. (so I wouldn't count that as Corruption)
We also see at the end of Gen-2 Rockwell's whole plan, which was to make meat-children.
Nothing of Corruption though. (so makes me wonder if the Corruption at the end of Gen-1 was just a placeholder for the meat-men.)

And the fact we see Element actually improving life for specific species could be part of that fact.
Corruption, with all of its rage, might see itself as the superior version of Element. And try to convert all Element to become itself.

Or maybe Rockwell (still infused with loads of element) managed to eradicate the corruption somewhere between the end of gen 1 and start of gen 2 when he fused himself with the ship

Even he seems to hate Corruption, with wanting to help us deal with the Titans and Corruption on Earth during his Ab fight. (at the cost of course of being mutated like him.)

Yeah, he's connected to the ARK, which are connected to the entire System.

Basically, The-System is the ARK's database for all creatures it holds, survivors, and any possible history.

So realistically, he was probably stalking us just like Helena since The-Island.

Okay wait I'm a bit confused now. He went through the arks, and ended up in ab as the mutant. To know about the other arks he would need to be connected to at least one of them, but he wasnt connected to aberration and he didn't make it to extinction. And how did he get to Genesis?

He was connected to Aberration.

He also mutated 'on' Aberration, not ending up on the ARK as a mutant.

And yes, while he never made it to the location Extinction is set in. He did make it to Earth, which is how he was able to get to the Genesis-ship, via Arat-Prime.

Idk bout that while being a cool concept it just seems element is always connected to the evil hive mind the only reason tek is good is because in its refined form it can’t use for the lack of better words “powers”

There's nothing I can remember that directly indicates towards this.
We've seen Element do nothing but positives, outside of environmental hazards that humans directly caused.
Corruption on the other hand is 100% destructive.

Corruption deprived from Element, yes.
But it has yet to be confirmed if Element naturally matures into Corruption, or if it needs some outside force to do so.
It's like comparing bread to moldy bread.
Sure, both are bread. But one will actually kill you if you eat it.

Tbh I never even thought of that but I still don’t believe that is true as multiple notes mention how element is the cause. And on top of that Rockwell mentioned he was able to make pure element (which corrupted him) by melting down the refined element and removing what makes it refined.
