There's a skin that does nothing and has to be equipped to armor to be worn, earned by getting all of the Genesis 2 Chronicles notes. Then, there's the federation exo suit which is 20 armor per piece and has no durability stat and infinite use while in Gen 2, as well as being able to be charged with element on other maps (including Aberration, where it ruins the map via you being able to just transfer to it, yeet yourself into the kool-aid, and then fly around the map.) The second one can ONLY be equipped as a skin over normal tek armor, and will give you the infinite use without fuel while on Gen 2 if worn there, with the stats of the tek armor overwriting the skin. It will spawn equipped to you (and won't let you exist on the map without hold a set of it, in most cases) on Gen 2 only.

I would love a swamp ark too. But I feel like a full on ocean ark wouldn’t make very much sense lore wise. It was only doable in gen1 because it was a simulation and things weren’t as extreme

Also there’s the issue of eating. You can’t eat when you’re swimming/floating

Olympus has a slightly older feel to it than the newer mod maps like Fjordur and Lost Island (Lost Island is just a fever dream to me at this point), which I personally really like. It has all it takes to be an official map, but in terms of gameplay and detail it fits more in Arks 2019 era than 2022

They would never feasibly make it because the overseers were repeatedly calculating the corrupted threat as being near insurmountable, so you would just keep going and the Arks would just get harder. Also explains question 2 a little bit, but the big reason that didn't happen was because it simply wouldn't work if there was enough corruption there to overwhelm the system, which there was, until the events of Extinction happen.

And, before I go to sleep, may I just gently push you to read the explorer notes in their entirety, because I cannot resist answering lore questions but also would very much like to not have to when it's easily accessible information 😉
