Not sure what you mean by under the map but all the drakeling chests that I retrieved on extinction were in the forest cave or ice cave. Obviously they would appear to be under the map if you were in the surface.

Desmodus is tamed by getting close to the one that ya want to tame

Aureliax is basically Moschops that asks for weapons and has a mini OSD-like game where your character needs to be the one protecting it because your tames will deal little to no damage

Ossidon, get it's torpor to half then run to it, ride and try to complete both objectives that will appear above your hotbar

Solwyn, find one in the wild and get an item from it which will allow ya to evolve your Veilwyn to one

Malwyn requires ya to get the Bloodforge which ya can obtain as a rare drop from doing the OSD like event on the map or manually crated if your character has already unlocked the Tek Replictor

Love Aberration but terrain in all directions means your saying good bye to performance. Its just sheer quantity of terrain. Jump in water for refraction effects on top of that and your GPU has a good chance of throwing in the towel.

Hello, I make a lot of music and had ASIO4ALL installed, as well as ASIO for OBS. Now I can’t start ARK ASA because my computer always crashes with a kernel error (139). Maybe. Darts do more torpor than damage, reducing the risk of killing your target. They don't have as much drop as arrows, making them more accurate.

Know this was 4 hours earlier but can confirm what Hazard was saying. Main benefit to using regular darts over arrows is making it less likely you will kill the target. We had a lot of problems of accidently killing stuff like quetzals and spinos that have high torpor compared to health before the darts got added. The shocking tranq darts are the ones you want to use for better knock out times.

A high damage longneck can knock most critters out in 1-3 darts with shocking tranq darts.

Taking an item out from a vault cryofridge storage container ETC, it will act like you aren't taking that item or dinosaur from it. It will show up in your inventory and also stay inside the storage container, when you go to put the item or dinosaur back inside, it will disappear forever. Only happening on Lost Colony.

Only really need health and melee on rex. Maybe a little weight if you want to use them for meat runs. Reason for not leveling breeders is just to help keep track of what stats have transfered on to the babies.

Ideally you want around 30k health and 600% melee for alpha boss runs with a rex army.

ideally, ya would want to double the number of females to counteract this

Yea that’s pretty much it, you got the basic concept right 🙂
you basically want to always swap that one „perfect“ breedermale out once you get a mutation that you want.
However you can go over the mutation counter of 20, but by that time you will loose some mutation chance as mutations can come from either parent - once the male is at 20/20 ONLY the females will provide the mutations. But there is no way around this, have to accept it will get slower after that.

And also if you get a FEMALE baby with a desired mutation, do not discard it. Let it grow up and mate with the Breeder male, and wait for the mutation to land on a male offspring so you can then replace your Breeder male with the mutated male baby again.

It’s basically just a game of luck, and then stacking mutations on a male offspring - with the swapping of the male breeder everytime a new mutation happens on a baby that will then replace its father - over and over again

In general, for most Herbivores, HP should not be more than 21k if ya are able to mass produce Veggie cakes then pump the rest into Melee

if ya don't have the means to mass craft Veggie cakes, ya should start on it then

Why are certain creature not rendering right. Dodos, casteroides, mostly creatures that haven't been updated in a while. They look boxy, like ps1 graphics.

160% is for item quantity I believe and 220% is for loot

but if ya exceed 160%, I think ya get less of the selected resource in exchange for higher quality loot

I'm not sure why it happened to me but I used a high level Mek with 3 basic ones so maybe what caused so try using 4 basic Meks

I have a character named Zion his level 121. He has tech grams and has ascended multiple times on server 9233 official NA I think you restored him once but then when I went to download him, it would just crash the game

Now I can’t find him at all when I got on this morning there was a character named Zion that was restored, but it was a female and I downloaded her to the server. She was only level 83.

I just had my game crash while I was trying to defend an outpost, I reload to the outpost being gone, along with everything in my inventory. The game is acting like the stuff is still in my inventory: when I gather fiber, it goes to where fiber was in my inventory. My character appears to have their armor, but it isn't actually there. It also briefly shows my character in third person when I look down.

Anyone else had this issue lol

It also completely freezes about 10 seconds after reloading

Then it takes about 20 seconds to unfreeze

The only way I was able to fix it was to just reload an old save
