Hi, im having a problem in my singleplayer world. I cant access the terminal since lost colony launch, i thought it was a mod problem but it is still doing that even after removing all mods. Luckily I've got a mod for net projectiles on my server and it works on the marksman and desmodus bosses. Honestly makes them a bit of a joke. But yeah the marksman tp is ridiculous since it can make the mission impossible to complete if it tps to a bad spot

Might be worth trying something like a spring drakeling swarm. Give them about 4k hp and decent flak helmets and they can be pretty tanky.

Could build a bird box on a paracer to protect them from the turrets. Have it so the box only needs 1 foundation pulling up to remove. Then once turrets are down can unleash the swarm. 🙂

When raising dinosaurs, if the server crashes, they do not continue to grow until they are rendered back in again. This happens on Official PvE and on many other servers. It has been an issue on our server for around six months now, and with how often the server crashes, it’s become a major problem.

With this being a paid map, and still releasing new content that’s actively being promoted across social media yet the map has such a huge game breaking bug, can anyone from wildcard actually give comment on this issue please?

Don't know. Needs changing ini files to alter config. But default setting is even spread for all level ranges. Not the "Ragnarok" variant where lower levels in each range (5, 10, 30, 35, 40, 65, 70, 75, 80, 105, 110, 115, 120 and 125) doesn't even exist.

Apparently, they broke cosmetics in the last patch. 🙁 I found if you can place a new structure, you can skin it okay, IF you take off the skin, however, you will not be able to replace it or pick ithe structure up (like, a ceiling or a wall). It's like the game doesn't see the structure anymore. And the furniture cosmetics aren't working at all.

Anyone else know why bobs tall tales isn’t working on console? I was trying to build a zeppelin amongst other things from bobs tall tales which I bought when it first came out and it won’t let me build them. They don’t show up in my engrams or my smithy or anywhere. I have contacted support and received no support. So im plopping my question here in hopes it gets to someone who can fix it. Logged on to my server this morning and after the latest patch the Lost Colony lights have a very dim light. Not lighting up the area where its placed at all. I picked some up and replaced them but still the same issue. The Lamps worked fine when I went to bed last night. I just tested to place down a omnidirectional lamp aswell and it has the same dim light. Whats happening lol, anyone else experiencing this?

Don't know the specifics but it's stupidly low. Your best bet is to tame a male and female that have decent weight and crafting skill then breed them. The babies will have random production. Once you get a element dust gacha you can clone them and the clone will have same production has the original.

Hey, I just wanna explain what I’ve witnessed to see if i understand everything that’s happened correctly.

The subject is I logged on at the start of the day after being logged of for about 8-9 hours. My other 2 tribe mates didn’t log on, which was known before I got off.

I get on, and discover my juvies feeding from 1 Tek trough, that’s connected to a meat cart, (which I never do on other servers) my tribe mates set it up this way. 7 ish of my bats out of 10 have passed, 2 out of 3 Rex’s gone, 3 out of 3 veils gone. 1 out of 10 gloons gone.
10 out of 10 managurs are all still there surprisingly.

There’s still blood in the trough and on the bats inventory’s and meat in the bats inventory’s.

I’ve heard of people saying bats can’t eat the blood packs out of render.

So my guess to what happened-

The bats eaten all the raw meat up out of the 1 Tek trough that feeds all the dinos, (I think is silly to have one trough but I guess I should have changed that sooner)

The meat cart can’t top up the trough out of render I’m just now discovering, So the bats were left with what little raw meat was in there inventorys.

Then dinos started passing away untill I got online/ in render and the trough was topped back up and stopped everything else from passing away too?

It’s very frustrating but the main thing is I wanna understand why the meat cart didn’t use more of its meat.

From what I’ve seen it’s a bit of a free for all when there’s other people there to manage to get some loot. But yeah maybe that specific outpost type isn’t spawning in enough of something.

I'd actually say the tames are better on ASA but the maps are better on ASE. A lot of the ASA maps look nicer but feel worse to play. Good example is the volcano and skull island on center map. Gathering metal and obsidian on those 2 spots is frigging horrible since they made ASAs incredibly uneven so you can't move tames around them properly.

Heya, anyone else having issues with rollbacks not making sense in regards to imprints / server activity. I had about 8 tames at 100% and they had reached that percent at varying times but the last rollback put them all from 100% to 97%. Its maddening. (Official, lost colony). The math's not mathing lol

it is copying the game files to apply the patch. if that takes 3 days, your drive is basically dead and needs to be replaced immediately. it certainly wont run the game with speed that bad

steam may be patching on a different drive than the game is installed on, so if you have an old PS4 hard drive you shucked and plugged in via USB, there is your culprit

it should take 5-10 minutes on a high-end modern drive, maybe an hour on a cheap modern SSD

it copies all of the parts of the game that are being changed, inserting the patches from the download, then moves the new file back into the game folder when done

that could be one or two 142GB copy operations depending on if it uses one or two drives

if one of the drives has extremely slow write speed, the copy can take a long time, but going back the other way may be faster

it basically checks the files in the process of copying them, since it is reading it all anyway

Its programmed to trigger on level ups. If you add it your players will have to either use a mindwipe or gain another level for it to kick in.

Works fine during normal play. But it can cause your players a little confusion when it's first added since people never read mod descriptions.

I use vanilla with sprinkles. You can easily adjust the engram unlocking and stack sizes with weight reduction. It takes the place of several mods.

Problem with multi use mods like that is they usually do stuff you don't want as well and have a higher risk of mod conflicts. I'd rather put a little extra work in and use multiple dedicated mods to get the exact effects I want.

For example stack size mods usually miss some items and don't help if you don't want the weight reduction. A lot of them also work via item replacements which can cause issues with other mods. To top it off you can change stacks sizes via ini settings anyway so it's a needless risk.

Only difference is that tek dinos can be higher level than normal dinos. If a normal dino dino had max wild level of 150 a tek version can be up to level 180.

Basically means it's easier to find one with good stats.

Oh you also get different resources when harvesting them.

Mutations are incredibly rare. If you can get the inherit melee mutation traits on the breeders it will drastically increase the chances of getting one. Just remember the different tiers can stack and you can take the traits from old breeders and put then on new ones while they are growing.

Bobs tall tales really is pay to win if you can get those mutation traits.

Abbs impossible to optimise properly thanks to the terrain being all around you. Throw in light and fog effects on top of that and yeah good bye performance.

Use 1 male with the mutations and lots and lots of females with no mutations. When you get a mutation, make sure it’s on a male and then breed with all the females again (always keep your females with no mutations)

Aye people underestimate them but the hail of boulders does surprising damage. You just need to be a bit picker on the hp stat than you would with therizs. Used them on alpha master controller boss on ase gen 1 boss without issues though. Seeing the boulders flying everywhere and wiping out the minions is funny has hell.

Big benefit to chalicos though is the saddle drops are really common so it's easy to get a good blueprint for them.

On dododex, some ressources are better harvested by tools but does equip it on a Mantis change something ? because for example, raw fish meat or keratin is better harvested with Metal Hatchet, but no Mantis on the leaderboard, but for Mutagel, sand or sulfur however, Mantis is said to be better than a Metal Hatchet or Pick, any reason why ?

i wasnt doing anything special. the server crashes, when it comes back up and i join in i am unable to use anything in my hotbar and my tek armor does not work. i have to put everything from my inventory on my into something for example a creature. it even sometimes shows my armor is still on but it isnt. the items instantly disappear when transferring them into a creature and when dropped on the ground then picked up they disappear..poof.

i had transferred a therizino to our cryo hospital from my inventory before i recognized this issue. the CH showed it was visibly in it from looking at it outside of the inventory but when accessing the inventory it wasnt there
