Someone snuck into our base on official pve and claimed some of our baby Dino’s. We were away from base so we didn’t bother going back to open the door for them as they cussed us out. They reported us from inside of our base, and wildcards enforcement team deleted some of our Dino’s for blocking other players. Same day, they later removed all of our pillars around our base, metal farming spot, and meat running location. Blanketed wipe of all pillars. Do they even look into anything before they punish us like this. Actually do something about the foreign language tribes who claim land to sell for IRL money. Don’t grief your normal players

I would probs combine the stats to one stud first (assuming you have no mutations yet) and then use that as your main stud and then do 2 separate mutation lines before you combine them

If you don’t have mutations yet, Mate your male and female to combine both the hp and melee onto one male. Mate this male with your females (females must have no mutations) then when you get an hp mutation, use this to gain only hp mutations. Use your original stud to keep mating until you get melee mutation and then use that new Dino for a melee line. Then when you’re happy with the stats combine them. You can do it both mutations at the same time if you want but eventually you’ll find mutations are a lot slower so separately first is easier I think. Just always remember to only use clean females

You can either tame more, clone them, or keep mating your male and female and raise the females, just make sure the babies you get don’t have mutations

No really, they only matter if it has a better stat that you want to transfer to your male

It’s easier if your females have the stat you want so that the babies do as it just means you don’t have to kill bad babies but it’s not a major issue if you have random stat fems

So you said you have opposite sex dinos with the stats you want, so in this case your female stat matters until you mate you male and female to combine their stats to one male

Once it’s all on one male it doesn’t matter

I think there are some videos on YouTube that explain it better than I can. If you’re playing with mods I would recommend getting a spyglass mod as it will make checking for mutations easier, or tek binos

I play single player and im fairly new to the game, my partner showed me this area he referred to as the Mosh pit
I've finally worked up the courage to go there myself as I have an argent taming pen and was looking either for a female raptor or an argent

Now previously there was a level 25 Alpha raptor here, I brought my trike along and killed it. Working the area was going well but now a 105 alpha raptor has shown up
There's lots or argents in the area, I didn't see other raptors
Do I ahve a chance of taking it on with my trike or should I just go home? Doesn't look like I can attach a pic of my Trikes stats so if it helps: she's level 217, HP: 3714.8, Sta: 570, melee Dmg: 409.6

Can anyone help? In PvP extinction. I have reps, vaults, makeshift labs, etc… everything. Nobody in our tribe can craft anything. We can’t transfer all from any of these structures. And I can only take one at a time and when I do it shows it like it’s still in the structures inventory. I picked up one of the makeshift labs and replaced and now it works. It’s based on where it starts. If you have tek binoculars look at how many points it has. It being level 183 means it has 183 total points into all its stats. Leveling your tames won’t help this. Only getting higher level base tames or getting mutations

i think most things are just reskinned items, its wildcards way to make certain things work with no extra downloads (the new official server modded skins) stuff like that, its nothing bad its just a work around with unreal engine

Was just having this issue, my fix was this, power off xbox, unplug it, press and hold power button for 10 sec. Now I restarted my router and waited for it to be back online, now I plugged my xbox back in turned it on and was able to uncheck xbox only

You can just keep on exploring like you are, or check the wiki for locations. Depends on your gameplay style lol.

The entrances themselves aren't too large, but inside they are pretty spacious.

I would also recommend being prepared for the caves too - there are nasties inside lol.

Depends on the cave. I think thyla can fit in all entrances.. but there are a couple where partway through it might not fit all the way.

I can't remember.

The wiki does list what can and cannot fit in each cave lol.

But if you have cryopods you can get around the tight spaces that way.

And when you find one, if you peek inside, you'll have somewhat of an idea of what you'll be dealing with. And can plan accordingly.

So I've not been able to load The Island since the 5.5 update. Looking for some help. The game either CTDs, or actually bluescreens with a "DCP Watchdog Violation."

I've tried:

• Loading with no mods
• Verifying files (repeatedly)
• DDU driver uninstall/reinstall
• Loading backup/other Island save files

Every other map loads fine, but my main base and all my best breeding pairs are all on the Island and it's getting pretty frustrating. PC, Steam, 4070, game runs perfectly fine on all other maps, all DLC is downloaded.

UPDATE (day later) - deleting all files i had stored within TheIsland_WP folder (inside Saved folder) EXCEPT for the safe file (Island_WP), the tribe file, the local player profile file, and saved painting folder seeeems (fingers crossed) to have fixed this. Possibly the game was attempting to load a manual backup or something too. It had a ton of old .ark files and anticorruption.bak that might've been messing it up.

There were several things listed that could cause your issues, go to your steam page, library to Ark ascended and verify you game files. Your friend should as well. if you have tested your internet speed and its good, thats not the issue. You will have to troubleshoot til you figure out why you cannot connect

oh wow. Seems like something they should enable again. Maybe take one person from enforcement for it. Enforcement already doesnt check into things before wiping strucutres and dinos. They just take the word of the submitter. We've been punished harshly just in the last two days on official pve for people sneaking into our base to claim our baby dinos for their stats. The dinos were stuck in our dinos after they claimed them so they submitted a ticket saying we blocked them. They redgunned our tames and a bunch of our base. Super not impressed with enforcement. All they had to do was look and see that the strucutres belonged to us. So one less wont lower the quality anymore ha.

You can place a template down and then use the "Disable Entry" option to disable specific parts and then place the replacement supports in those parts place til you can auto build/place the rest of the template without errors. Had to do that for a build recently that was on a hill for the initial build and needed pillars when trying to move it to a flatter spot so it would let me finish auto building.

You do have to remember to complete the template when finished tho or it will keep treating it like the template is incomplete even after autobuilding the rest of the template.

No snap points usually means it isn't finding a spot to put the foundations/pillars on that is valid. Once you place the template on a valid spot you basically have to go around and swap out any parts/add parts to make the foundations/pillars actually go into the ground.

Fastest way to get the 30k cap xp is killing alpha's or doing drops on extinction, if you setup a tek bubble, and put your drakelings in there together with some dino's that you can give the xp to you can kill 1 Enraged Rex or whatever they are called on extinction and you get like 20k shoulder xp, after you kill a few wyverns you go into the force field, you give xp to the dino and pickup a drake ling, and then you rinse repeat, Works best on the hardest drops if you put a lot of metal gates on the drop you should be able to hold it with a present day carcha with 2500 melee.

I get that message but if I wait a few seconds I can get to the sever list. Then Yes, I have to back out then go in again and un-check the xbox only thing... Then I can log in. They really borked this up a couple days ago. Sigh.

I am having issues with Quiet Home and Clean Glass Mods, these are not required on the server, only the client, but the last couple of days they have not worked reliably. I did rmove/re-install several times, this worked once, but not yesterday afternoon or today.

I can tell you how I fix mine. It does require access to a PC

First, back up your servr using fileZilla or equivelent.

Second roll back the server to yesterday from the Restore Backup Server Backups menu

Third. Make sure the server will update and start (it typically does for me)

4th. Shut the server down and restore backup to today

5th - unzip the map you want (usually 1 or 2 hours ago) rename it, (remove the timestamp) and copy it to the server directory

98% of the time this will correct the issue for me.

If you leave render or jump maps it usually fixes the invisibilty issue.

Not sure if anyone else is having the issues my cluster is having en mass along with the known ones.
