You’ll get more than 5fps. But a lot of the time 25-30 will be near miraculous. I’ve witnessed it played on a laptop with a 3050.

while the Chip it self might have the ability to gat 20-30 fps
that 4Gb VRAM buffer will always be filled up which causes UE to run in "safe" mode when using DX 12 which swap things into RAM which will cause fps to go down to 5-10 (if you are lucky)
and since it will be swapping VRAM into RAM it might also go over that 16GB's of RAM
which will tank perf even more

Enable console access under the advanced tab in settings. Once that’s on you should be able to hit options then touch pad to bring up the menu to input the commands.

If you’re using mods there’s one called Lily’s Tweaks that will auto run commands for you when you log in plus some menus for commands you only want to manually run as needed.

The wierd curseforge app to fix ASA mod connections is under investigation from curseforges tech team. I play on Ps5 and I've watched my friend do the Alpha overseer fight and when he came to download his character, it was gone. Everything was gone. Has anyone actually done this and not had this issue as I have 450 hours in ark ascended and I don't want to lose my dinos or my character if I go into this fight. Can anyone give some advice?
We have tried a couple of things such as logging out in the cutscene, closing the game completely, but nothing actually works.
We go to the character creation screen and it just says Loading but no character loads.

We have reported this as well but unsure if it will be looked into.

oh i did a complete clean install off windows and everything, does it download anything at all for the mod ? for me it tried to start then was like nope i dont like that, for myself I think it was because i was changing drive letters and paths around so the file that points steam for the download cache for ark was not updated accordingly (it can be a different location for each game depending on where it was saved originally) and that hidden settings file is usually hard to find to change it, plus the same pc kept black screening which was another problem i found. So doing a fresh install was better for me and seems it fixed a lot off the issues i was having.

I've been having a weird graphical glitch since this week where the screen starts being very shaky/laggy/jitterish after about 1 minute of playing and never stops. Happens both in SP and unofficial servers. Restart or reinstall only give me about 1-5 minutes of normal gameplay. I would reccomend the island's herbivore island cause its safest and easiest to find. But youre making sure to tame exclusively 150's? You cant get the HP from anything less really. Its a small chance but worth the patience to get that hp but you can settle for a few points less if you are fine with mutating them into the line later on

Ya I was trying to go for 30 points hp wild but I flew around with a gene scanner and checked every single stego on the center and found none I didn’t find a single 150 stego

The 2 I found on extinction had like 22 on hp so yay

22 is still pretty solid you could start with that for sure if you dont mind breeding for a while. Make sure to kill every medium drag weight herbivore while looking to spawn new ones

Tribe log says he was removed, but no one is removing him.

We add him back to tribe, but within an hour or so he gets removed again by an unknown source.

Thankyou yes I finally figured it out. @brazen robin sorry for snapping and thanks for your help. Even though I’d logged into verify and I thought I was logged in, I apparently wasn’t so that fixed it and ticket done.

Hopefully they will look at the ticket - I was told they wouldn’t do anything with less than 3 tickets… but we have a Chinese group of tribes deliberately put foundations blocking our base and pillaring everything around us trolling to force Ilya to move and we’re just not giving in to them.

Rexes are usually are hard spawn on the island, carno is unfortunately the best spot. Maybe check if anyone is pillaring thier spawns, if so report it because its against the COC

This has been happening since the big major update at the end of January. They secretly re added Nvidias Frame Gen back into the game and it's buggy. When you lose frames due to your PC lagging this usually happens. The games frames never actually go back to what they were. IDK why Wildcard can't figure this out or understand this to get us a fix. But apparently this bug has always been in the game as long as Nvidia Frame Gen has. That's why when they removed Nvidia Frame Gen completely it magically went away.

There's a thread on reddit about this issue that was posted after the major update went live and someone else came to the same conclusion as me.

Does anyone know how to use the Astraeos Skins?
I can’t locate the Astraeos - Wardrobe Mod in the settings when trying to add it to my server and all instructions on how to access them are from 2024 minimum and don’t seem to apply anymore. Like going to the cosmetics tab and clicking the eye to access custom skins.
